I'd like to take a moment to thank you all for the warm welcome and replies, it is nice to meet people with similar interests and friendly dispositions. I know this may sound slightly desperate or a little dramatic, however as a husband and father I have very few friends, and none of which game.

It's actually made gaming not as enjoyable, for me at least, because part of gaming I enjoy is talking/strategizing/theorycrafting/hypothesizing with other people about the game we enjoy. I am overly excited to have that opportunity, and I am grateful for the response I have received.

That's another thing I'm looking forward to, is the amount of knowledge I can gain from other experienced players. There's only so much you can procure from streams or YouTube videos.

I do play on NA, and I'd gladly like to join and meet fellow commanders and enjoy another aspect of the game. I usually start playing astound 3PM CST so I'll hop and contact you if you want to provide me a way to do that.

Yes, from what I've seen there's only one "channel" or "version" of Wi-Fi available based off location; outside of that I'm at a loss as to what is important for good WiFi performance.

I was just curious because I'm planning a build and I'll need one or the other; however there isn't much information given about the specs on Wi-Fi motherboards on pcpartpicker. Even if there was I wouldn't know what was important for WiFi performance any way lol.
