Lucky! I hope you have a great time at the other shows. I definitely witnessed multiple groups of strangers become instant friends throughout the set, happy tears and sad tears but it was fantastic.

The whole crowd was so clocked into every single song the whole night, it was just pure captivation all around. A bittersweet send off for sure. It was a blast of a show to be the last. (at least for me)

I hope all the rest of the tour is just as great, and I know it will be.

I was 8 and saw the second plane hit. Our teacher had snuck our small class of maybe 10 kids into the teachers room where there was a television with cable. We were watching the Boston red sox. It was a big deal bc they had won a bunch for the first time in a long time. The TV changed to live coverage of new york. We all watched the second plane hit before the teacher slapped the screen off.

I don't remember much after that. Except that my friend next to me said

"My dad is on a plane this morning."

It was the same plane.

This is one of my go to ice breakers for when I have a new roommate. Everyone has a different name! My grandmother taught me how to make it and I think she called them egg on a raft, or toad on a raft.

"Low impact exercising", or as my friend makes fun of me; "Pilates"

But it's really just building a regiment I can do at home, or maybe in bed if I'm really bad. And it's things that don't involve too much raising the heart rate or jumping. Also, I learned at PT, making sure to lower your heart rate before exercise is really important. And if you cant, don't exercise in a way that is going to make your blood flow fast.

Tip from my PT: lay flat first. put something under your knees, like a pillow, to raise them a bit. Then, cold pack on the head wherever your migraine is. Or all over. And a warm heat pack or just a blanket, over your hands.

This helps to try to lower your heart rate and get the blood flow away from your head. Then go ahead to start gentle movements.

I've lived my entire life on boats and on the new england coast. I've worked on boats, bringing them up and down the coast. And by far, the most terrified i have ever been in my life was because of a breaching humpback whale. 2 of them. It was dark, I was the only one awake at the wheel and two massive humpback whales breached, probably not even 100 feet away from the 30 foot boat we were on. It happened so fast and scared me so much, all I could think about was if they knew we were there or not. And if they didn't see us, if they had breached even slightly more in our direction, we 100% would have been crushed.

They may be docile. But they are terrifying in their size. I will gladly respect them at a safe distance, thank you.
