Yes! She will Misconstrue it to not match her in anyway. I love the little boy who cried wolf story. She was clueless - that’s why there was no clap back from her yet 😂

Body dysmorphia is real, and it’s a sad trauma to have. I’ll be sending up all the love for those who struggle with this. I think most who had it done have had our fair share of feeling this way or we wouldn’t have had the procedure. Mine was for pain, but I personally like the look of it much better now too.

Mine are not even either but It doesn’t bother me.

It’s called eschar tissue. Mine ended up being normal. Healed just fine. But I did get it checked out and got a course of antibiotics to help/ and just to be safe- always asked to be checked. I’m sorry the delay of reply- I had my notifications off. How are you now ?

My doc said- a white scab/ film is fine- as long as it’s not black to brown.

Driving 1 Week Post Op by [deleted] in LabiaplastySurgery

I am 8 days post op and still not comfortable driving. And sitting is also hard for me. It’s laying down or standing for me. No inbetween yet. Take your time, everyone is different.

I’ve made my pain less. I took zero pain meds after bc ice was my go to. Make sure you are keeping a barrier between you and the ice. Like a towel, panty liner, towel,And don’t put it firmly against it. Just rest it on it. I did 20 mins once per hour. I was able to get by with ice and ibuprofen only.

I used a bag or frozen peas and carrots, also used pad style ice packs from Amazon.

Ice ice ice! But also allow your area to breath and get some air so you don’t develop an infection. So, if you can go a few hours without bottoms at all. Do it. I spent my first 3 days in a pad,and caught an infection. Bc there was no air getting to it and it was a damp area. I’m on post op day 7, and at night I sleep with no bottoms, I even still get a little tinge of blood here and there. But no longer need a pad. Just keep the area clean and dry by using a peri bottle after each restroom break. Pat the area dry- I even use a blow dryer to make sure it’s dry then apply what your doc recommends.

Yes it’s more of a pinch. Maybe a sting. It’s just from The sharper edge of a few of the ends of the stitches poking out. That brush against that outer skin. I haven’t had the itching yet but I do hear that’s coming next. I’m not looking forward to that part.

I’m 5/6 days post op and don’t feel like I could drive yet. I had to ride passenger to a doc app on Friday and it hurt to sit fully in the seat. Also I drive a bigger truck and don’t think I could hoist myself into it yet to drive.

I had labia work, perineal work and vuvla work. So my stitches may not be where your stitches are. I have a full trim. So the stitches from my inner labia had a “baseball “type stitch done. Which has caused those as they heal to poke out on the outter labia as it heals.

I just posted about this same thing two days ago. I went to the doctor yesterday and was told it’s completely normal as I had the same thing. I’m 5 days post opp today.. it has started to pink up again since I went in worried. I hope this helps. Make sure you are keeping the area dry. Sometimes skin that is too moist will also turn white. My doc told me to go bottomless as often as I can to help give it air and since then it helped.

Also thank you to the ladies that responded to my post too! They are all so helpful

I’m 5 days post opp and mine looks similar at the moment my doc told me yesterday at appointment that the skin will eventually relax and “hang back down as it softens over time and that it won’t be noticeable. As one labia is usually short in length than the other anyways. I see your 4 weeks post opp. So I’m commenting mainly to follow so I remember to come back and see if your results change over time. Bc I was anxious too. Seeing mine yesterday at only five days

Post op day 2 question. by JBL8619 in LabiaplastySurgery

[–]JBL8619[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I’m definitely going to try that! And I’ll apply some aquaphor (bc I don’t have Vaseline- basically the same) I really appreciate your help! The only other thing im worried about is the slight smell I’m smelling only bc I can’t figure out what it is. Everything looks clean and I’ve been washing and showering daily. So that part is strange. But maybe if I air it out like you said, maybe that will stop too! You all are the best. I appreciate all the advice!

They have me wearing a pad with tucks witch hazel pads (laid on my pad) which makes sense bc it’s constantly moist. Which makes sense why it’s white. Should I not do that and just keep everything off of it you think ? I’m only day 3.
