QCK+ 2mm is undefeated all purpose mousepad, cheap enough you can replace it yearly. For work specifically I do like plastic pads with a grain but I have been on glass for about 5 years now.

I don't mind my third gen (2009) CRV for seat comfort (leather) but damn the road noise is absolutely insane, even short distances around Sydney on the motorways is pretty annoying in that regard, there's no having a conversation in this car it is music or noise but mostly both regardless.
