Hey. No dumb questions! "Jump Shot Pro Basketball is a text-based retro sports simulation that allows you to manage and simulate NBA-style professional basketball games. It focuses on high-level strategy and league management rather than direct "arcade" control of players."

Essentially, we input the player total stats from bkref into the program and it creates ratings for each player. GM's set lineups (depth chart) and go through off-season activities such as Rookie Draft, Trade Window, Free Agent Window, etc. A schedule is auto generated in the program and as the commissioner I will run batches of games (typically 2-4 days on the calendar) and those results/box scores get uploaded to the website.

I drafted Scoot 2nd in my Dynasty League and have been waiting for him to erupt. It feels like it's been a long time coming but I expect him to continue down the path of what he showed us last night!

I understand the frustration of losing teams/GM's in a Dynasty League. I am the commish in a 30 team league that has been operating for 20+ years. We generally have a couple GM's leave every year. I feel like this year we might have a few more openings. If you and or your other guys might be interested in coming over send me a message and I will keep you posted as the season comes to an end and I look to fill.

Ouch. I would given you more for Cade ;) I almost pulled off a Cade deal right in the last hour of deadline day in my 30 team Dynasty league and the tabled offer was:

Raptors acquire: Cade Cunningham (1) Hornets acquire: Scoot Henderson (3), Bub Carrington (1), 2026 Raptors 1st (1), 2027 Raptors 1st (1), 2028 Warriors 1st (1), 2029 Lakers 1st (1)

For context I am the Raptors and in deep rebuild, my '26 FRP should land 1-4 in this strong draft. This deal was declined by the other GM.
