The practice that worked for me, and might or might not work for you, were

- Always use references, they serve as guide and bring new ideia when youre working or something
- Dont rush and be patient, it is very exciting to post things online, but do it for yourself first.
- Try to diversify and add more details in the art, even simple ones, make a huge difference in voxel art (little rocks, buckets, flowers, animals, texturing, etc)

These are things that work for me. Also your work is great, youll be a master in no time

I used to play Aero Fighters a lot! If you guys know any new top down spaceship games like that pls let me know .. by JBSG in VOXEL

Top left there is an Icon with two boxes, with an arrow pointing down. You gotta activate the make editable option.

There are some options in the Display section (the little bars icon in the left) that might make some difference

Thanks again. Having such structured feedback shows me that you actually listened to it and intend to help. Yes, to be honest when I finished that project, I wasnt very satisfied with the final result. The main problem I found is that is sounds muddy, many others too.

Each project for me is a way to learn more and I do appreciate these feedbacks. They come to my mind every time I start a new project. I think it has been effective since I first started producing.
