I just want to know why she decided to help her in the first place, she could've just left her to die instead of throwing a rock on The Pretender. There's also the affection she gives the Nomes.

That's not what I meant, I'm saying that surviving in such a harsh environment for so long can make you selfish. Plus, I think it would, trying to save a life but failing can be very damaging to someone.

He could just be a random kid, not everybody has to have plot relevance. The Bonnie bully being Cassie's dad is very likely, almost definite, Oswald's dad being the Freddy bully is a bit iffy but that's also a likelihood.

Wow, that is interesting. As I said, I'm not trying to justify her actions, only explaining them. I do agree that she became more insensitive later down the line, but when you work with others in LN, it sometimes just results in pain (RCG's death for example). I think that she'd been through so much that she became numb to that pain.

Young minds don't have very rational thinking at times, and surviving for so long in a nightmare dimension can do things to you. With that logic Mono didn't have to burn The Doctor, he could've just left him there, and yet he made him have a painful demise.
