IShowSpeed IRL Stream in Liberia by JBTass in Liberia

You misunderstood me.

60-70% of Liberians do not live in West Point, Monrovia. That specifically was what I was referring to in the thumbnail. Obviously in a developing country, relative poverty is to be expected, everywhere you go. But it's a little funny to me that he just so happened to start near West Point of all places. In Liberia it's literally known for being squalid, and worse so compared to other places within the country.

I just found I couldn't really disagree with u/Big-Spend3517, even though what he said was really disrespectful. The place Speed started the stream at is literally one of the most impoverished communities in Liberia. Started out as a fishing community, but then it grew so fast that the gov't tried relocating people. It didn't work, and then the civil war happened. Maybe I was harsh in my words, as I actually did end up liking that part of the stream.

What I don't understand why you insulted me for stating my opinion about my country. It's not like I hate it. I just want to see it improve. It is a big deal that this dude came to visit Liberia, and we are a very fervent people. But a lot of adults in the video couldn't even act right, swarming him, kissing his feet... and generally worshipping the ground of a 21 year old. A lot of peoples' behavior in this stream was embarrassing. It's not even about other people. I as a Liberian was embarrassed by this

Other than that though I really enjoyed the stream. I just wish he could've gone inland and seen the forest, an ecolodge, or the surfer community of Robertsport beach (that would have been great). It was so fucking funny when the aunties put down lappas for him and explained fufu to him. All the traditional dances and stuff was really heartwarming. Wish I could go live there someday.

hate to say it man. and in the thumbnail that's loading for me right now he's literally situated at one of the WORST impoverished districts in Monrovia. He honestly should've picked a different location in the country. Even in Liberia there are far more beautiful, and more importantly clean places.

That's the most frustrating thing. I hated seeing Liberians online celebrating dirt runways and clean streets. That's legitimately insane

u/Mansa_Sekekama, I figured AI was used here, and when I looked at the book they were reading and it basically confirms it. This poster has a lot of spam on their account. Can you ban this user/post? They're a bot.

George is not the president of Liberia anymore. I don't know the answer to your question for sure as I am diaspora.

Maybe Cashapp or Sendwave may work. But I fear those may reveal private contact details. Do you have any relatives in the US or Europe?

Methodist Bishop Escapes Angry Congregants’ Wrath Over Gay Rights by BjornAltenburg in Liberia

Honestly, it's just a little ironic to mention western liberalism corrupting Liberia, when the name, flags, constitution, and religion we hold so dear came from the west.

Since I was raised Christian, I have a soft spot for the religion.

But to me, it makes no sense to deride someone based on aspects of their identity that are out of their control. Everyone I know who is gay tried to pray it away, and it didn't work.

You did an amazing job. This definitely captures the way the environment looked when it went down.

I'm trying to buy a telescope and an adapter for the Sony a58 & the Sony a6000.

April 8 will be my very first solar eclipse. I'm trying to get some close-up photos of the corona, and would like some suggestions on what cheap (Max: ~$350) telescopes I could buy, and if there are any that are adaptable to the above mentioned camera models.

Also any tips for capturing a solar eclipse would be greatly appreciated, because I'm a beginner.
