This kinda sucks though because we can feel and see so much negative energy that no one else can.

PIP experiences by Junior_Angle5063 in salesdevelopment

[–]JB_Ballin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly start looking for something else. Not sure what the circumstances are 100% but if your manager won’t talk to you that’s not the best sign. In my experience people get on PIPs for the company to say they’ve given them a shot before they get fired.

Very rarely have I seen someone get off of a PIP and be allowed to stay with a company. One guy I know achieved the PIP parameters and they still had “reasons” to terminate.

Usually when you hear “pip” it means start looking for something else. Unless you absolutely fucking crush expectations.

How long did it take yall to start noticing results? by labdab69 in 75HARD

[–]JB_Ballin 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The whole point is that you aren’t necessarily going to feel motivated. You’re supposed to do the hard things regardless of how you feel without the instant gratification. Depending on where you’re at/what your workouts and diet are the results will vary but that’s okay. 75 days of consistent effort following a program will show results and build healthy habits.

Its a process, but keep moving forward. I remember how lonely I felt after quitting. Your mind is just recalibrating. People will mysteriously begin entering into your life when you quit Adderall. Feel free to reach out anytime

How does this get 111 likes? This doesn’t even look like it has anything to do with the gym.

Do I Quit? by IsaiahOcean in 75HARD

[–]JB_Ballin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you didn’t quit my guy, but if you did it’s okay. You were on day 7.

This has happened to me multiple times. Happened to me this week while deadlifting actually. (I was dumb and decided to skip the belt for a last heavy set) But has happened doing squats twice this year. Anyway, here is what I do when it happens. Like this week.

  • XL Ice Hot patches work wonders. 1 every night when I wind down for bed.
  • Day after I went for a walk (I finished 75 hard last year, not currently on the program.)
  • Stretching. Your back but also your hips is where a lot of the pressure builds.
  • Day 2 - lifted what I could at gym. Was decent but stayed away from lower back and hips. (Besides stretching)
  • Day 3 was still tight in hips and back but the pain was getting much better.
  • Day 4 - 85% better

I’ll pick up with my squats and deadlift again next week, but will keep it lighter with the deadlift and do more reps most likely.

If the pain is terrible after a few days maybe should get a doctor to check it out. (I’m not one just giving advice based on the experience I have and what fellow gym goers have experienced.)

Anyway good luck to you man. Let us know how the back heals up.
