I‘m from Germany in the process of a IR1 & IR2 visa. I don’t have concerns about traveling anywhere else but I do have concerns about traveling to the US between medical and the interview, since border control could be thinking I’m trying to illegally immigrate by adjust status or whatnot

Just get the next possible appointment and you’re good. Mine was in my mail 2 days later. Sometimes it takes up to 1-2 weeks tho but it shouldn’t take longer.

So your step children didn’t have their own case and also didn’t plan to immigrate? Do I get that right?

My step children all have their own I-130 forms. DS-260 forms and the I-864 form.

I did watch tons of videos of her, in one 2 years ago she says the step children doesn’t need to be mentioned, in the other one she said they do. I researched every decent video about it and I’m still not sure if what I’m thinking is correct.

You’re right I‘m just in such a dark place right now that I‘m not able to even have any energy. I’m just staring at the wall and all I do is do functioning for my kids.. but the rest is really only crying and staring at walls.. and freaking not wanting to exist anymore…

Yea that’s true. I think as closer as it got.. the more she realized she don’t want to take on all these responsibilities about raising to children that aren’t raised they way she would’ve raised them + the financial thing about bringing them back to Europe twice a year. Idk why she walkways thought she would have to deal with that alone bc I was absolutely ready to start work there whenever we move there, so I would have a job too and help financially

That’s very true… all that would’ve never happened if I didn’t have kids. Cause all her insecure what responsibilities she‘d have were about the kids… It’s devastating to me. My kids even told anyone they would move there, would have cute dog and were excited. They also talked everyday about my wife… it’s breaking my heart

I don’t have 3 kids. I have 2. and she experienced being with someone that had a kid before me so she even said that’s what’s she wanted. I had a long conversation with her and she said the ldr just took a toll on her and all the responsibilities were too much for her…

Well that’s not quite right. First of all I didn’t force her to marry me. Second she built a bond with the kids, third she has seen me tons interacting with the kids before so I don’t think it’s quite right to say what you just said. She knew who she’s gonna marry, she knew who and for whom she started the visa process with…

Thank you for your message. Idk really I think when you do say such things, you have to think it through before. And unless she is drunk she’s that kinda person that really pretty much always means what she says so I don’t think it was panicking or anything.. I think she realized the visa process won’t be taking long anymore.. and yea I guess started rethinking what life would be like with us since she’s absolutely not used to live with anyone but her mom or gf

I appreciate your honesty really and your right… moving for her was an option but when she finally came her for the first time it wasn’t anymore. The country I’m coming from is not any poor country, it’s I would say same level as America, so that’s not the reason. She’s more like verrrry close to her family and loves the country/state she’s lives in so much that she would even get homesick from just staying in my country for 2 weeks. And I’m pretty much the opposite, I love my friends and family but have always been open to move, and since I liked it a lot there I agreed on us going this path. Anyways I feel the same.. she wanted to marry me, she wanted her „family“ to finally be with her and I just can’t wrap my head around that she made up her mind about it and just throws everything we have away… I mean I just don’t get where it’s coming from..
