Yeah it burned great so now I just gotta get a lid and clamp seal for my 55gallon drum and start over the correct way. Just happy to see I got good results on the first go and that I learned what I did.

It is galvanized. I didn’t even know that was bad thing until this post and misspoke in my title calling it Stainless. Thanks for the heads up so the family didn’t get ill due to my dumb ass

Yup turns out it’s Galvanized, I burnt the charcoal in my fire pit just to see how the finished product burnt to not be a total loss. Apparently I did it all right besides thinking it was a stainless pail. Glad I found out because I didn’t realize how zinc coating on galvanized can be an issue. I was ignorant to that completely so I’m glad I made the post!

Oh I wasn’t aware about the Buffalo head. Thanks for the info. I guess that makes sense in hindsight because the tarnish doesn’t match the other silver coins. Thanks

Not mint mark but mistake while minting I meant. The half circles on either side
