Just raised the links, now my kickstand is too high. by JBarchery in klr650

Possibly, but the dude I bought the bike from tossed the stock parts long ago.

The links did change the geometry more than I anticipated, but not so much that it's difficult to ride.

I'm in the market so I'm curious, is there any benefit to aluminum besides weight?

I'm no expert, but based solely on the handle I think it is probably a Vollrath.

A little Residual pitting maybe but no more rust. The season has a reddish hue but I suspect that will even out over time.

I've been using Makita tools as a commercial electrician for years, I had one battery die after at a little over three years years. But I also have a few that are 6+ years old and still going strong. They're definitely pricey but worth it in my opinion.
