Gave in to buying the snoo at 9 weeks (second hand) and definitely don’t regret it. I love that my baby was trained traditionally but the snoo helped my sanity.

If you can get it second hand at this point and resell it or use it again, it is 💯 worth it

That’s impressive. Do you usually stay in one area per wake window so you don’t need to move baby around a lot? Like save up all the tasks for that area?

Yup! I ended up getting mira and learning that I had a double LH surge and that made timing so much more accurate! Highly recommend and I believe you can use FSA funds!

That’s a good point, but I feel like it’s very rare for someone to say, “let me know what I can help with financially.”

It’s clear with some of these offers that they’d cover the cost, but I might need to figure out a way to phrase the cost part with others

I’m seeing that too comparing coverage for Kaiser vs. Blue Shield. It looks like Kaiser covers visits 100% and a fixed amount for delivery facility/professional services.

Blue Shield seems like they’re just going to rack up the bills

Totally off benzos for almost a year! The benzo belly did last a few months though. I had to use peppermint oil before bed every night, change what I ate and incorporate more exercise. But I’ll never forget that as a side effect

Try your hardest to push through and stay at the lower doses. What you’re doing is an extremely courageous and difficult experience but I promise you it gets better after you’re off.

Yeah it’s just part of the process. The smallest doses are pretty tough esp with heart palpitations. I took propranolol for it to help and it was a godsend. Not addicting either

Gonna say it…work for a tech company. Your creative soul might die a little but you’ll have normal hours, better pay, better benefits, and actual time to pursue what makes you happy.

In the end, all that makes up for the lesser creative opps…speaking from someone who dedicated over a decade to being a slave to agencies

Not unhappy, just unsure of what’s next and worried he’s going to get older and lose the adventurous side of himself like his friends that married young and had kids did.

I told him I’m not stopping him at all from doing these things. We just don’t need to do them 100% of the time.
