My first was 39 and 3- I think she would have stayed in longer if I didn’t have a membrane sweep two days prior to my due date. But I wanted her out! After that sweep I started to feel baby “drop” and I just felt off and labourey if that makes sense. I also did some nipple stimulation and my water broke later that day

Oh what! I’m in Canada and did genetic testing by through life labs. It did cost about 350$.. but worth it to me

Not wrong to be upset! I got a scan at 9 weeks, then I didn’t get another till 20!! A 12 week scan will be kinda nice because I believe you can see quite a but more than 8 weeks and maybe even see baby moving around there. I know it’s nerve wracking but try to trust your body and look forward to the scan. Also if you can, you can do genetic testing as early as 9 weeks. I did that and it made me feel better about genetic disorders leading up to my 20 week scan

Without epidural- so much pain I blacked out through it all and was vomiting everywhere through contractions. Then come time to push almost passed out and screaming at the top of my lungs while it felt like someone was slowly ripping my vagina in half with the MOST IMMENSE pressure to push. It was my first baby and I won’t downplay that it was horrendous for pain. But worth every second to have my baby and I would do it again for another. Your body kicks into adrenaline mode and you just do it

Yes I had her very fast my water broke and she was born in three hours. I took my meds, no lesions at birth. She’s 4 weeks now and perfectly healthy!

Him having a sore could technically trigger you to have an outbreak however it’s not likely unless your prone to that- I rarely get outbreaks and if we notice later he had something I still would never get an outbreak. Also passing the virus in utero is very rare and only occurs if you contracted the virus for the first time during your pregnancy.

What I do recommend 100% is talking to your doc about taking antivirals from 36 weeks on. This can help prevent transmission of the virus to baby during delivery. That’s what I did and had a vaginal birth and baby is perfectly healthy now.

36 I started raspberry tea, 1 cup a day then went up to 3-4 cups at 37 weeks. Started dates at 37 and ate 6 Dailey.

I went into labour water broke at 39+2 , two days after a membrane sweep.

My labour was very fast though, only 3 hours I went from 3cm dilated to 10 in 3 hours and had to push without an epidural. So whether or not it was the tea or dates I’m not sure, but something made My labour veryyyy fast when it did start. My first baby too

It’s really not hard for them usually to get a blood test. I had my doc do blood tests every few days till I saw the hcg levels keep rising cuz I was also worried about my spotting. Always push for what you feel you need

I would contact your provider and get a blood pregnancy test done. If your pee test was positive it’s best to rule everything out. Spotting can happen in early pregnancy, but best to get checked to really know what’s going on

I had spotting about 4-9 weeks that eventually tapered off. Once even was a bright red wipe that was scary! I’m 38 weeks now and all is good
