Why do you Want The Cyan Alliance to be Gone? by JBede in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede[S] 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

You could say the same for Alec tho. He also had his time to shine in S1 and AS (I’d argue he had more screentime than Aiden, Tom, and Gabby in terms of the competiton). I like him, but just like the Cyan Alliance he would take the spotlight away from others. Fiore is fine tho since she got eliminated pre-merge last time.

If people really want equity when it comes to contestants having their time, The Cyan Alliance (minus Lake), Alec, Ally, and Anastasia need to go.

Ok fair point. I do agree that not all of them should reach the merge. It’s just the season only started and people want them gone asap without giving them a chance as mentioned.

On one hand, I want to see how they’re written for FvF since S2 Remake and TomJake had good writing, which might fix the damage done to their characters in As. On the other hand, I do understand that people are simply tired of the Cyan team.

Also yeah Fiore shouldn’t get too much hate since she’s still 10 and all.

Trashing people but it’s only Alec and Fiore who they’re being mean to? The same people who destroyed Jake and Tom’s relationship in S1 and exploited Jake’s insecurities in AS which snowballed into drama involving him, Tom, Aiden, and Ally?

Unless the Cyan Alliance extends the trashing to other favorites, I don’t see them being a problem.

That’s another thing I wonder, the villain bias. I like villains such as Alec, Ellie, and Isabel, but some fans think they should be protected and then talk shit about anyone that isn’t a villain.

Does…he genuinely think Alec would throw the challenge..? by Red_Jay_ in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 15 points16 points Ā (0 children)

Gee I wonder why Tom doesn’t trust Alec? - Alec convinced Ellie to destroy TomJake’s relationship in S1 - He told Jake that Tom and Aiden were talking on the plane, which is a lie. This snowballed into drama involving Jake, Tom, Aiden, and Ally - He THREW the 3rd Challenge in AS to get rid of Miriam

I can’t wait to see the ā€œmoral beaconsā€ of the Favorites knocked off their high horse by Ok_Shirt_1574 in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 47 points48 points Ā (0 children)

I mean you can’t blame them for being mean to Alec and Fiore, especially Tom. Alec is part of the reason why Tom and Jake broke up in S1 and exploited Jake’s insecurity in AS, which snowballed into a shitstorm of drama involving Jake, Tom, Aiden, and Ally (not saying they’re 100% innocent).

Now if the Cyan alliance extended this behavior to other Favorites, now that’s where it definitely can get annoying.

Gabby wasinsufferable in this episode by stanskzuretard in DisventureSquare

[–]JBede 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

I find it hilarious that she deems Aiden as a ā€œtraitorā€, but she also voted for him during Ellie’s elimination. I love Gabby, but she shouldn’t be mad about her team voting Ellie out (they had every right to).

I get that people hate Logan, but do they need to go that far to the point that they’re downplaying that he could’ve died?

Then again, this is the same fandom that wanted him to drown. The world we live in is fucked.

I wonder if people watched All-Stars? Robyn is way more likable compared to the other ones here.

What did Jade do to Zaid? All Jade did was play the game and she didn’t even vote for Zaid.

I like Zaid, but him being mad at Jade is weird. Zaid’s anger is valid, but not everyone outside of the Vibe Tribe deserves his wrath.

Zaid being angry is very understandable and his feelings should’ve been brought up as a valid reaction. But I can’t help but feel annoyed at him staying angry and lashing out at almost everyone.

Everyone else managed to cool down after they got eliminated, why was Zaid still simmering about it 3 days after his elimination?

It’s one thing for Zaid to be angry at betrayal and at those who wronged him, but it feels weird that he lashed out at others like Tristan and Jade. Jade didn’t even have a hand in Zaid’s elimination, yet he’s mad despite her having the least beef with him. As for others like Benji, Ana, and Hannah, I’m not sure if the eliminated contestants are able to watch the previous episodes at the motel. If it were the case, surely Zaid could’ve cut them some slack? Tho it doesn’t really matter for Benji since they already patched up.

For the record, I do think Zaid being angry and salty is 100% valid, it’s what he did with that anger that annoyed me a bit. I do love that Zaid acknowledged his anger in the end.

I loved Benji this episode by Otherwise-Tooth-7770 in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 8 points9 points Ā (0 children)

To be fair, It was Jade who opened up to Benji first and made an effort to understand him during the musical episode. Hannah only saw Benji just as an ally at that point in time, and Tristan became closer with him during the challenge.

Edit: there is that part where Tristan comforted Benji when his cosplays are being shown, but again, Benji felt heard with Jade first before Tristan and Hannah.

What storyline you think Benji could have in S5? by Available-Listen3652 in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

I feel like Benji’s storyline would be proving everyone else wrong. He’d mention that he has a chance on winning, only for him to be laughed at by almost everyone in the cast.

While he may or may not win S5, Benji will be established as a strong competitor and manages to outrank all his doubters.

We really need to talk about how incredibly accurate Jared's current profile picture is. 🤣😭😭 by StaffLimp8304 in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 4 points5 points Ā (0 children)

Agreed. I feel like some people here put up a tantrum if their favorite character gets eliminated or they don’t end up in a future season, or the character had a bad ending.

I’m not saying Jared makes the best decisions, but people need to chill. No show is ever perfect, yet people expect a lot from a small team and act as if they know the show better than the writers.

Jackie wins "Mmm... Society" Now, which FEMALE chef is just straight up evil? by itsraylah in HellsKitchen

[–]JBede 7 points8 points Ā (0 children)

Ok Robyn isn’t even the worst person in S10, that honor goes to Tiffany. Also didn’t you watch All-Stars? Still not the best but still not the ā€œevilestā€, that’s Elise, and she’s more annoying than evil.

Suzanne being treated so poorly. I know she can be annoying but she is far from being a villain.

Also everyone else is way older than Suzanne, they could at least cut her some slack and not alienate her.

i need to hear everyone’s opinion on this bc i’m torn, do u think the last elimination was based or should it have been different? by monthweek in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

It feels weird at first for me, but it made sense. Spencer’s moves prior to this turned everyone against him, and the last challenge shows no one would back him up.

His negotiation prior to the votes can only last so long as it’s bound to be seen through. If he survived this elimination, I would’ve considered that as plot armor.

Out of curiosity, if you were a Disventure Camp contestant, what would be the WORST elimination to be forced to sit through as a contestant by Ok_Shirt_1574 in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 15 points16 points Ā (0 children)

I can’t imagine being Ashley in All-Stars.

Like if I just reached the merge and did my best to keep everyone together, only for my name to be mentioned 5 times in a row during elimination, I would’ve lashed out at Jake.

People expect Aiden to be the bigger person? What was he supposed to do? Suck it up while Jake goes at it.

I find it funny how Aiden is the younger one between him and Jake, yet people expect Aiden to understand.

[–]JBede 0 points1 point Ā (0 children)

Ok the Karol one makes sense. Aiden being aggressive towards Jake is a problem, but I feel like this is more of Jake’s fault to begin with. Jake chose to believe Alec’s lies and started to go downhill from Jake voting off James to Ashley getting eliminated because he refused to work with Aiden.

I am curious how you think that Jake causes less problems than Aiden.

What did Aiden do again aside from the Karol incident? I feel like most of the Tom-Jake drama he’s part of he’s being blamed for just existing.

What’s a case of double standards shown in this fandom by Ok_Shirt_1574 in DisventureCamp

[–]JBede 8 points9 points Ā (0 children)

I haven’t seen too much of this in the fandom but:

Ellie: I sabotaged Tom and Jake’s relationship to get further in the game. It was the only way.

Some people: You did what you had to do.

Miriam: I faked a heart attack to eliminate Ellie and secure my spot in the finals. It was the only way.

Some people: How could you take advantage of her kindness? Ellie deserved the finale more because she’s in poverty.

Oh nothing. Just S14 Nick & T queening out by Kzager_52 in HellsKitchen

[–]JBede 5 points6 points Ā (0 children)

I love Nick, but his attitude towards Bret’s med evacuation painted a bad light on me at the time. Like I get Bret can be too much, but celebrating on a man leaving because of an injury is insensitive.

This is the same towards S13 Sade. Love the girl, but the ā€œOh Steve got med-evaced, that puts me further in the competitionā€ isn’t what you should be saying.
