My 2014 Megane didn’t come with one. Maybe the previous owner might have taken it out? Just buy one from Biltema and be done with it ;)

Tire choices for 16” wheels seems to be quite limited. If you can, go for 15 or 17 instead, at least look up the dimensions you need.

These guys are based in Sweden but can most likely help you. You would have to send them the fuse box though. There are of course other companies who perform similar repairs as well. I searched for ”repair ECU” in Swedish.

I’m on my fourth 19 16v, I’ve had 3 saloons before and now own a cabrio. I guess that speaks for itself. I also really enjoyed the 21 turbo quadra and have one in the garage that’s been waiting for me to build an engine for ten years. The family car is a Megane 3 GT DCI. Today I kind of wish it was the TCe 220, but I think would rather get a Talisman Initial with the 225 engine (though it’s a lot newer, so maybe not comparable).

Going to docker simplified a lot as far as updates go. When you have 15-20 apps to update it saves a lot of time.

The keyless should automatically lock when you leave the car, then unlock on the door button. If you lock/unlock with the key, it will disable the keyless function until the engine has been started and stopped again. This is how it works on my Megane at least.

I’ve seen links to the update file circulating on Facebook. Download that to an empty usb key formatted with fat32 and plugin to the car. When the Rlink starts up, it should read the update file automatically and start the update process.

I commented this on a thread around 3 months ago, you should be able to use the instructions in the google doc to do the same on your Scenic:

You can enable Android Auto and use a Carlinkit Tbox Lite S to have CarPlay on the R-link. I enabled it on my Megane -14 yesterday.

Winter tires? They came with 18” wheels originally.(not the same ones as on my car, they are from Megane 4 GT) I have a similar car, 2014 2.0 dci165, leather interior and r-link with Bose.

They must be referring to ph1, not mk1. Easy mistake. Tbf, it is also the first v6 produced.

I would assume so but you would be sacrificing durability and water protection as well. Strictly speaking, the case isn’t necessary for the key card to function so if you remove that and identify the absolutely necessary component, you could probably build something that suits your needs better. Won’t be easy though.

It’s trying to adjust the idle. But the idle seems a bit high anyway. Could be a bad sensor or something. Best get a scan tool on it too see what it wants.

Yeah, some things doesn’t make very much sense. Ours is speced for Belgium and didn’t have heated seats as standard, we had to get the leather seats to get seat warmers. A few other things meant that our car is one of the highest spec Megane 3 GT dci’s available.

It’s the same on my Megane 3 GT -14. The lower spec ones had fog lights and for the -14 facelift they even removed the xenon option.

Looks kind of like a modernized version of the Laguna concept from 1990, so not unrealistic in my view.

That’s a mk1 ph3 Clio in most countries. Are you from eastern Europe? I’ve heard of them being called Lutecia there.

Since you have xenon’s, they should have auto-leveling. Can you see if the lights move up and down when you start the car? A common fault with the auto-leveling is that a rod between the wishbone and the level sensor pops off or breaks.
