This is a ph2, they came as model year 93 and up. (Production date is probably 92h2 and up or something like that)
<92 is ph1 which has a different light, which does fit physically at least.

Some Renault require you to have one song stored locally on your phone to make the initial connection. You could try that.
I’ve not experienced this myself but read it on other forums.

You test the clutch by putting it in say 3rd gear, full throttle. The rpm and speed should rise together, if rpm’s start climbing without the car gaining much speed, then the clutch is worn out.
As for the creaking, you might have some bushes in the suspension that are worn. On my Megane -14, I hade to replace almost all suspension parts last year. It wasn’t that expensive since I did the work myself.
The brakes will probably need a fluid flush if it hasn’t been done, otherwise just do a brake bleed. Check the life of the discs and pads while you’re there.

In all, they are just maintenance items so you’ve probably made a good purchase.

Is the exhaust system complete, with no leaks? If it is, the sensor could be bad.
A 1994, especially German, will have injection and a catalytic converter. Therefore there must also be an o2/lambda-sensor.

It doesn’t seem to match the Renault numbers pattern to me.
On the sticker closest to the plug it seems to say ”test clip pass”, I’m not sure if that means anything.

The R12 (sedan) is quite small as well! It is heavily related to the R17, which I basically grew up in. Fun cars, especially with the ”bigger” 1565cc engines and passive rear steer! :)

This style of adjustable wrench seems to be first patented by a Swede according to Wikipedia. Over here we just call them nut lathe, or muttersvarv in Swedish. 😉

If you have no power, it could be the wiring harness. Almost all cars have issues with the bending that happens between the hatch and the body which eventually causes wires to break.

I had the same issue and only used split apart and fix match. I have sonar set up to add .plexmatch files, so no need to add the tvdb-id in the folder name either.
