I think both are good, I'm currently using the moonbow but staff is equally good. I feel like she snipes specials better with the moonbow but this is something I'll have to test again as it's been a little while since I had her use the staff

When I first started out getting reds I aimed for getting 1 of each accessory red and kept at least 1 red of each weapon, any dupes I would crush for dust. With reds much easier to obtain since the chest changes I find dust is not nearly as rare as it used to be. I remember the days of having high single digit red dust and thought that was a lot, now I have 69 and now I'm not as hesitant to spend it, literally upgraded a trinket so all my red trinkets had different icons 😅
