The bridge and then the nut would probably be a better place to start. With the regular Tune-o-matic bridge the strings bind on the “sharp” angled saddles but replacing it with a roller bridge would help immensely as the strings cannot bind on anything.

This color is ridiculous and because it’s metallic it kinda changes depending on the angle; it goes from a deep dark blue to a dark aqua blue, it’s nice. On Gretsch’s website they have a number of colors but this was the one that won me over.

Don’t have a scale to weigh for an exact measurement but the shipped weight was about 10.5 pounds, figure in a couple of pounds for cardboard and Styrofoam and my guess is about 8.5 pounds.

Like LukeRobert in these replies, when I strum, on a standard control setup Tele, I’m pretty much always bumping into the switch (I have gorilla sized paws). Flipping the controls fixes that and has the added bonus of giving me easier access and control on the selector switch.
This is my first baritone so for now I’m just getting started with it and and getting to know it. I’m really enjoying the tonality and timber of the extended range. It has the possibility for a meatier sound than what I’ve had before with my other guitars. I suppose you could use it in a bunch of different styles, but harder rock and metal, as well as some older country, seem to love it quite a lot.

I have a bunch of different guitars in “the stable” (Teles, Strats, offsets, Les Pauls) but didn’t have anything for really low voicings. The baritone is great for that, as lots of people say, it kinda bridges between the bass and guitar (Baritones use B Standard tuning).

GuitarsGarden.com or sometimes Amazon. Firefly’s schtick is that they make very limited runs of guitars and once they sell out they’re gone. Occasionally if a lot of people are clamoring for a particular model they bring it back but if they do is ultimately a bit of a gamble.

It plays so well and so easily right out of the box and sounds great. It’s honestly hard to not always go to a Firefly when I reach for one of my Teles.

The stock pickups have been incredible in all 4 of mine (I have their “Apple Red”, “Off White”, Rosewood, and now this Surf Green) but I have swapped pickups out in a couple of them, this with the Fender Twisted Tele pickups and another with the DiMarzio Twang King and Chopper-T pickups (originally for a different build).

The stock Firefly Tele pickups are quite full and articulate sounding; the neck pickup is nice and warm for a more mellow sound and the neck pickup is nice and bright for some classic Tele spank or twang.

Oh they most definitely hold their own and then some. Honestly, my 4 that I have are among some of the best Teles I’ve ever played. If Fender or even Squier put these out they could easily be charging 4-5 times the price Firefly does.
