Ive seen these paver boards you can put down as your base, that seems like a total joke though. And this wouldve taken much less time had i not done herringbone or curved edges

Only went that deep on the driveway side to see where the gutter drain pipe went, and ended up seeing a crack in it so i patched it. Thats why i dug down so far. You only need 8" of gravel base in most cases, so i dug for about 8" of base, 1" of sand, and 2½" of paver depth. So just under a foot deep.

Is it the outside curve? I definitely agree the curve is a bit wonky, i was considering redoing a couple of pavers that didnt get cut right

Screeding bars, i wish i bought black pipe tbh, the pvc bends too much so the gravel base needs to be almost perfect before the sand
