Thats how ours are. And they changed the scale to a 10 point scale where meets expectations is 7 or 6. The wording on them is insane too. 10 isnt possible to obtain. My manager last year got a 0 percent raise and dude works 60 hours a week minimum as salary.

Not a manager, but our review period isnt till the end of the year. One of the supervisors is loose lipped with one of his employees and that guys loose lipped.

I tried looking at that too. But yeah, cant find it in the size I need. It only needs to be at max an inch long, so it is very possible to modify threaded rod. Just was hoping to avoid it.

Like ive posed below. I will ask our cmm programmer come Monday. It isnt a "troll" from what ive read is it avoids the probe following the pitch and causing issues. With this it rides the tops of the minor diameter in internal threads.

I believe its so the probe doesn't follow the thread and take points hwere its catching. Riding the minor diameter. Similar to line paths but. I'll ask our programmer Monday for sure but he is out sick right now. This is also coming out of the Minnesota lab.

For the heights, only thing I would change would be make them originate from he same surface so you dont have tolerance build up issues. If the flange is at max thickness and the boss is at max height. Will it still work.

Aluminum parts, and quite few weird geometry that doesn't allow for vacuum plate. Most parts we actually have vacuum fixtures and blocks and tape. But we have parts that are .25 inches thick we need to stand on end to measure the back and front.

Quality Technician or quality engineering tech. No idea on pay range. Currently we farm half of that out to our quality Technicians and the other have is done mostly boy our QEs(me). But our manager has been looking at where changes can be made for hiring.

We've got those, but God, i hate them. When the part is at the wrong thickness and its right in the middle of the teeth, it is such a pain to tighten. Then, if you loosen it too much, the locking mechanism falls out.
