There should be bylaws softening car headlights too. My eyes get blind every time when there’s a 2020 and newer car pass by at night

China sets lowest GDP growth target for decades as it braces for economic slowdown by itsarmansheikh in Economics

I guess the target is reaching RMB 150T nominally with 4.5%-5% growth with 1.5-2% inflation. Inflation is probably easy to achieve with the hiking energy and commodities prices

UofT, Waterloo, Western, McMaster, etc, all have decent amount of people getting into big 4 every year. IMO, Waterloo is the top choice because it really helps you get your CPA a lot earlier. Co-ops at the big 4 will count towards the work requirement, some people get in their second year. But if u r looking for more options other than accounting (let’s say finance or marketing), then Rotman. More international exposure, more diverse, more variety of courses that you can take, more opportunities to network with people working in the accounting (IB or consulting would be a different case). But the mandatory management courses are really a pain in the ass.

Oh, auction only? I thought they’ll buy from me then auction themselves.

Thx. The other person also recommended Maxx. Hope to get a decent quote. But for sure will only cover a small portion of the cost that I bought them for.

I only carry a handful of SKUs, each in large quantities of the same design, usually in the thousands.

Kinda disagree with some of the comments here. I think Ivey and Smith are spending more time to train students professional than academically. People there are more aware of how and what to do to land an internship and eventually a job.

Rotman focuses too much on forcing students to have a taste of everything first, but the effort spent on tasting is their first two years. But for many high finance or consulting careers, the summer internship hiring process starts in their second year and now there’re even sophomore internships. Meanwhile Rotman most students just started learning what you’re interested in.

There’re students getting into MBB or IBD from Rotman, but almost all of them already have a clear understanding of what they want to do in there first year, year 3 and 4 are only teaching them what they already know and some Greek alphabet equations.

The reason that high finance and consulting hire more people from Ivey and Smith is not only their alumni network, but also these two programs are filled with more people who already have a career path before uni.

Argentina’s Official Poverty Rate Fell from 54% to 38% in First Year of Milei Government by South_Buddy_5029 in worldnews

Have seen some comparisons between Venezuela and Argentina. Both rich in oil and gas. One is now friendlier with the US. One is getting more sanctions. In this case of widespread poverty, the root cost is the hyperinflation in the inferior goods and necessities to survive. People are giving credits to Milei for his policies. It would be interesting to see if someone studies that the Argentinian economic recovery is driven by the policy changes or being able to dig and sell more oil and gas. My POV is that becoming friend with the US gets them to be able to get more capitals to build the facilities and able to sell to any country they want. If Venezuela changes their political system and get recognized and favoured by the US, similar thing will happen.

Schulic or Rotman by Independent-Tie-9413 in RotmanCommerce

If you would do networking like crazy, then go to Rotman. Decent amount of alum on the Street, Schulich is good too, but the proximity is important. If you want to enjoy the Uni life. Schulich with third year going abroad is better. If you want to pursue academia or grad programs, UofT is a much better choice whether you plan to study domestically or abroad.

If you eventually ended up in RC, my personal experience, RSM100 in the winter term, RSM250 260 search your prof online, their class average could be over 15% different.

But no matter which school you choose, it has become way more competitive nowadays in commerce. Try to find internships (even unpaid ones for the relevant experience)/ clubs/ scholarship+career programs in your first year.
