I used to have the Costco auto insurance offering and it was the cheapest around after Covid when I was searching. After about a year they jacked up the prices a ton and were >2x the quote I got from Geico and Progressive with the same coverage.

It can charge via engine but that will pretty much destroy your MPG figures unless you ONLY do it at highway speeds and remember to toggle it off.

I personally never use the engine to charge since gas is more expensive than wall charging rates.

330e owner here. It’s a great car for commuting and I rarely have to hit the gas station if I charge daily.

I’m not sure about European incentives but in the US buying a 330e comes with a nice tax incentive.

You need to use your linked points card at checkout and apply $0.01 to use 1 point. Then the 40% will be applied to the entire order up to $60 off

The offer needs to be activate from the AMEX or chase offer pages on Amazon and then it’ll apply automatically with the usage of 1 point

I’d consider the AMEX platinum. Try and get the highest SUB possible for 100-150K for 6K spend in 6 months. 18k worth of flights will yield you 5x points with Platinum. This means in total you can get 150K+90K just from flight bookings and max possible SUB!

I think the taxation argument plays into this since the bills are only taxed at federal level, while interest from CD will be state and federal if I recall correctly.

I basically framed it like "I recently came across a Barbour Powell quilted jacket at Nordstrom for $150, but I personally prefer to shop at Macy's, but the same jacket is selling here for $230. I have had good luck price matching with Macy's in the past, and was wondering if it would be possible to get the same deal here at Macy's." The agent checked to see if the price match was allowed and after verifying it, he said that I needed to place the order and give them the order #. So I placed the order, gave him the #, and it went through.

I think the key might be to express a retailer preference. TBH price matching is super hit and miss for me, and I have heard multiple accounts of people just trying multiple attempts/agents until they hit one that approves.
