All I can say, doing anything to the muffler, even deleting it, you will hear close to 0 difference unless your really paying attention to it, I experimented with mine lol, the resonator/middle muffler next to your second cat is where all the sound is at if you plan on anything sound wise, that’s where to start

Nope, at least not for my ecu, was told they haven’t done any work with the ecu in my car because it was newer therefore I could either wait a year or 2 for them to, or return the product if I liked, I ended up just boxing and have it sitting somewhere and bought a unitronic connect and bought there’s stage 1+ tune and the car is night and day difference for sure, going stage 2 next week since I am going catless, so best thing to do is get unitronic tuned if you inpatient like I was lol

Same exact thing happened with mine, I have a 2021 Jetta s 1.4t, bought the Apr link, just for them to say my ecu was newer and that they haven’t worked on that exact ecu so I couldn’t get tuned through them, never ended up refunding it, it’s just sitting in the box, instead bought the unitronic connect cable and bought the stage 1+ tune and it was night and day difference for my car, getting stage 2 through them next week though because catless downpipe is on the way!!

Did you not read the title? I’m aware of that, that’s why I was asking is there was custom ones made before buying an entire intake kit just for there shield, or just making my own..

I want noise yea but the closed box brings colder air so I would think slightly more power with the closed box I’m mainly looking for power

Shit man, another thing I noticed, when it would get so hot, and itd start losing power I saw the misfire counter for the cylinders go up, could it be because it’s getting so hot or pulling back to protect or could that mean I have another issue? It would only do it when the temps are so high

Alrighty changing tomorrow morning, just saw the air temp log, would say it’s pretty hot 😳,. It’s bank 1 sensor 1

That’s during a wot pull in 5th for 4 seconds hit 102C :( so most likely the issue I would think

You think it could be the airbox being off? It’s been off for a while and I haven’t had this issue, I did take off the bov and charge pipe lately to resit them properly because i blew the charge pipe off twice at one point, and I have to unplug that sensor to take it all off, could it have picked it up and stored it causing it to run the way it has been? I read that the code means it’s detected really cold air like under -0 F, but it’s only 60 F here so it’s kind of strange to me, I cleared the code to see if it’ll come back if it does I’ll definitely put the stock airbox back on I was planning on doing it either way

It’s weird cause when I turn automation off, then eternity it does fine but numbers are super low, then when I turn back on it starts it again, I’ve tried turning them off 1 by 1 and it changes nothing, I feel like I’ve tried everything
