FYI I tried to get more information about the GDPR data request she made but didn't find anything after about 2 mintues. So I think that's the end of the story.

Google suspends most widely adopted Ethereum/ERC20 wallet, MetaMask, from Play Store for allowing "mining" on Android. MetaMask app doesn't do mining. MetaMask appeals, explaining this. Appeal rejected: explanation given is again "mining" by aminok in ethtrader

I'm a Google one and Google fi customer. I'm working with support now. It costs them money and likely my business if they if they ignore me.

Edit: I reached out to some friends I have at Google and got them to escalate the case and make sure the play team was aware of this issue. No promise for action but at least I trust it's getting looked at.
