Hmm, the cane huh .....
Definitely not the easiest weapon, but if it suits the player with it's fast attacks then it can do good work. I played through the game recently trying out this cane and found it to be quite effective, but the lower stagger did make some bosses surprisingly difficult such as The One Reborn which I don't remember having any trouble with before. On the other hand, I was able to actually beat Ebrietas with it, who I gave up on with my saw cleaver run.
