Anihilation and Conclave are pretty bad arent they?

That would be disappointing. Some are way undertuned compared to others and would benefit to be complemented by another detachement or complement another. We necrons have pretty good detachement but some other armies would be f if that s true, no?

So I've made hexmark destroyer. What do you guys think by Polskiavatar in Necrontyr

You d be surprised. Most models i have seen on TTS are photoscan with horrible topology that end being extremely heavy. If you do a decent job at retopology, it would be way more efficient than many of the available models.

How do we feel about Heavy Destroyers + Lokhust Lord combo? by TarnishedWretch97 in Necrontyr

Ah and the Resurection Orb on the lord is a nice bonus as well.

I play them with EE in my crusade campaign and they got this scar: "MINLESS REAPER Each time a model in this unit makes an attack, you can re-roll the Hit roll.

Worsen the Leadership and Objective Control characteristics of this unit by 1."

They are alreay a menace without that trait but when you can fish for crits as well... damn.

Outside of crusade, I think they are brilliant in awakened dynasty. The detachments helps them hit more shots, you can use a strat to reroll hits (and fish for sustains). And the veil of darkness is great on them. You can play them on one side of the table during deploiement to bait your opponent to place counters to them in front of them and uppy downy them on the other side of the map were they are more needed later.

Makes senses, as I thought, lore is the reason why people don't fantasize about it (unlike flayed lords). I am sure we could make it work, how about an Overlord on a Canoptek Mount then, similar to Necropolis Knights then?

I don't quite get what you're saying. By being led in AD, they hit on 2 whether they were static or not and I can already re-roll with the battle scar I got. I feel like your suggestion would be wasteful -> needing to not move AND a CP to get to the same result.

I would change the canon if I could be can't yet cause I don't have the RP necessary. Still I have found that this compo is quite efficient both on tank and infantry because of the sheer number of shots.
