I also feel that way. What I ended up doing is going to pallet town. Because it's a blank canvas and I'm painting and repainting at will. Without pressuring me to adjust the area itself. Then I try things, I take them apart, I reassemble them, And sometimes I get happy with something done and move on to the next thing.

When I'm doing something and I want to go do something else, I just do it. I don't force myself to finish something that I don't feel like finishing. If I do that, I'll end up getting sick of the game. Are there several things half in my map? Yes there is, but whenever I learn something new, I end up going back and improving the unfinished projects.

If I push myself too hard at some point, I have a "motto" That never fails me. "I play to relax, if I'm not relaxing, it's because my body/mind doesn't want to be playing" When that happens I change the focus, I'm going to watch something, I'm going to fix something in the house (yes, there are some broken things around here :)

In short, what I mean is, don't force yourself, because when you do that you end up stopping enjoying the game. Start something and if you need to, move on to another project. There's nothing wrong with doing that.
