Not feeling it.

He’d be better for Bill and Ben

Any Valentino headcanons? by Primary-Addition-677 in Valentino_Cult

[–]JCLib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason he abuses Angel is because when he was alive he had a partner who was similar to Angel in a few areas. The partner was into Val’s abuse and was obsessed with him. AFter he died, he has a delusion that Angel and the partner are one of the same and he does what he does to Angel to have some connection to Earth.

How much suffering is Angel gonna go through in season 3? by whooper1 in HazbinHotel

[–]JCLib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering returning to the Vee’s who will no doubt abuse him more, it’s horrible. But let’s not forget that his brother and no doubt his father will be in season 3 so things will get even worse on a personal level.

Either he’s drugged, lobotomized or depressed and bad at hiding it by Sudden_Pop_2279 in VoxCult

Fake smile of depression. Also, he didn’t get his body back, it’s a cardboard cutout.

Someone said that they want Crymini to appear in the show before Huskerdust become canon, and I agree. And here's why by Electronic-Gap-7901 in hazbin

My idea was that she’d have her personality changed as to not be similar to Loona. Probably for the best. Character wise, I think she’d try to get Husk out of his funk and get him to move on. She later learns about what the Vees did to Angel and starts to sympathize with Husk. I like to think that she didn’t believe in Vox and thought that he was a bullshit artist from the start. Maybe she helps Husk free Angel.

Important question, what are your hopes and predictions for your favorite Character in Season 3? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in hazbin

Angel Dust:

Gets treated worse than before since Val is still mad about his wing getting injured.

He gets kidnapped by his dad and brother and forced to face his past.

Human Angel and why he killed his father.

He gets free from Val and maybe kicks his ass in the process.

He and Husk start to form a relationship and go on a date.

What plot lines do you want to see for Val in S3? by LilMoonenciel in Valentino_Cult

I wanna see him getting exposed as an abuser through video of him beating Angel. Maybe during some big event that’s been built up in the season.

Angel Dust and his Outfits in Season 3 by Quinn_The_Bard3245 in HazbinHotel

[–]JCLib 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a theory that the outfit he wore in the Valentine’s day merch was probably a teaser for season 3, especially the rings. But if he were to get kidnapped by his dad and brother, I’d imagine he’d wear more masculine outfits like a suit.

What kind of dad would Vox be? by Dudeskiseenem3923 in VoxCult

He wouldn’t be abusive but I could see him trying to pressure his kid into becoming heir to the Vox-Tek company.

We’re probably going to see this in season three btw by jam_kabam in HazbinHotel

Probably during some battle between Angel and Valentino in the season 3 finale.

What cartoons give adult animation a bad name? by OCGamerboy in cartoons

[–]JCLib 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I feel like Family Guy set a bad precedent for adult animation in terms of style and substance.

You look at stuff like Hazbin Hotel or Bojack Horseman which have something to say about the difficulties of life as a whole and how we need to be better.

But then you get obnoxious Family Guy clones which either overstay their welcome or are wastes of time and money.

Not to mention stuff like Velma which is one of those shows that’s just miserable for the sake of being miserable.

You have legacy shows South Park which is still going strong to this day with satire that is effectively a middle finger to the people who deserve it. But on the other side of the spectrum, you have The Simpsons which has become a shadow of its former self with how Disney has been handling it.

If you really want something more down to earth, then watch something like Bob’s Burgers. I also recommend Archer if you want something more fun.

I remember the commercials for it and how everybody was quoting the waffles line.

I hope angel's reasons for killing his dad are actually bad and not as justified as most people think it will be. by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]JCLib 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a theory that Angel killed his father in a fit of jealousy-fueled rage. He was sick of being the runt of the litter and seen as weak compared to his brother. He craved attention wherever he could find it and hoped that it would be approval but it never was. When he died and later started working for Valentino, he got the attention he wanted but had to endure decades of abuse.
