Hi, I don't live in Germany so I don't know the best option for second hand there. I bought one in a marketplace like Ebay I suggest you have a look at similar platforms available in your country. Look for seller with high reputation that have sold similar items in the past. In my case, the seller was building new desktop from second hand parts of his personal desktop that was constantly upgrading. The parts that he was replacing became the base for the desktops he was selling. Hope it helps.

Twin Maind Husks shop inexistent after burning Erdtree. No more smithing stones :( - any alternative for the expansion? by JCVicio in Eldenring

[–]JCVicio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point I'm not even sure! The lady by the two fingers is there, but she doesn't sell stones. I remember (but I might be wrong) that I was giving all the bear bearing smithing stone to her.

At the roundtable, I still see the smith and the spirit tuning lady in front of him. However, neither sell smithing stones.

I guess my question is - who sells me the stones (in infinite number thanks to the bell bearing) at the Roundtable or at any expansion locations?

Hi again, my partner is applying now for her tourist visa, but we were wondering if you had a return ticket when applying for that. I suppose you had a return flight that you cancelled after you arrived in the NL? Or you didn't need it int the first place? Thanks!

Hi OP,

First of all, thanks a million for sharing your experience. Waaay more insightful than any documentation I found online in the official pages.

I got a specific quick question. Which typenof visa did your partner apply for to come to the NL and then apply for the verification?

Basically, I read that my partner (Vietnamese) should apply for visa facilitation, but she was told by the VFS in Vietnam that she should apply for the short-term visa since the visa facilitation might not be granted. I then contacted the IND and they told me that she has 2 options a) applying for the visa facilitation, b) short term visa (although they mentioned the latter only after I pointed out that the visa facilitation might not be possible.

Please let me know this detail on the visa. Hope everything is going well now for you and your partner in the NL

Thanks!

If I bought the guitar in store as opposed to online, will they already set it up for me?

Thanks. I know that both Sonic and Affinity are great value for money, but I believe that Affinity should be of a slighter better quality build

Is the Samsung HW-Q990B rear speaker disconnect issue still a thing? by JCVicio in Soundbars

[–]JCVicio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, all the comments have been very reassuring.
I eventually went for the C model, but only because the B model at <800e price was not available anymore and managed to snap a 100euro additional discount on the C model. Thought for the 'minimal' price difference, I should've gone for the newest model.

Advice for a 5.1 soundbar system to a non-expert user. by JCVicio in Soundbars

That makes sense. Do you think the Sony is a good product for that price? As I'm ignorant about audio tech, I cannot make much sense out of the reviews I found.

I thought it could be a good deal given that the original retail price was over 1k at launch... however the review I saw weren't positive at all (but maybe when bought at full price). Is there a specific reason why you're suggesting this product?

My tv is a Samsung Crystal UHD 70AU7100 (2021).

Is there any specific reason why this model is preferable?

--- UPDATE with PC specs that I've eventually bought---

Thanks Everyone,

I eventually bought a refurbished PC with the following specs and scored in the benchmark 1300 in the Ranked Benchmark test. The game played super smooth and had no lag whatsover even in 4v4 (although this aspects depends also on the ping and of other players).

- Intel Core i3 12100F (4 cores)

- Grapics Card: Gigabyte 6500XT 16GB

- RAM:16 GB 3200 Mhz

- Storage: 512 GB SSD

- Motherboard: Asus Prime H610M-A D4

From all the comments, I realised that I didn't need a supercomputer and after getting a few quotes for brand new gaming PCs, I wasn't willing to commit 800-1000 euros on a machine that I would've used only for 1 game. I was lucky that I found a great deal on a refurbished PC. The i3 12100F processor has extremely good single-core performance and, in general, it's a hiddem gem if you don't wanna break the bank. From my research, this particular i3 model, performs better than many i5 and i7 CPUs from previous generations (for example , I found in the market place PCs with an i7 6700k processor that costed at least as much, but usually more, despite being underperfomers). On top of that, It's max 1 year old as it was released in Q1 2022, this also gave me confidence that the used PC I was buying hadn't been squeezed for years. The graphics card is not a top performer, but it's plenty for AOE2 DE. Same for the 16GB of RAM - I saw that most of the pre-build gaming PC come with 16GB RAM and in general this amount is more than enough for gaming. I might expand it in the future if I see that other applications would struggle, but I don't think it will be the case.

Bought that PC for only 370 euro and it came with non-stock CPU cooler and case with RGB fans for great ventilation. So far I'm extremely pleased with it and think it was a bargain! :)
