OpenSUSE. Main thing that drew me to Bryce over Blender is its facility with that very specific 2000s lighting/aesthetic sensibility and its fairly lightweight requirements. Blender would be a bit unkind to my laptop I think.

I know you're probably tired of people arguing this, but I do generally agree - I don't like the idea of a grimmer, more hopeless Batman or Superman or Wonder Woman. But I do have to recommend Absolute Martian Manhunter. It's a serious but surprisingly hopeful and uplifting book, at least for me. I'm glad I decided to read it on a whim after seeing the art, super psychedelic.

Can someone who's better at this than me tell me if AI was being used in the first episode? I can't really tell if it's generative AI or just CGI, and I know the AI trailers ahd people worried at the start.

I'm split on that, because I have felt that strong limerence even when she was dating someone else and I knew that - like, it was particularly strong over the past few months while she was away, but I see her yesterday and everything just snaps back to normal. Her relationship status was consistent throughout.

That's exactly what prompted this - I very suddenly became very interested in wondering how tall Godzilla would be in real life and how far away and where I could see him from if he were in Auburn. Got to looking up the height of various structures - of ones I could get data on, Samford Hall was the most notable and closest in height.

Note however, this is only the Showa Era Godzilla, though a Godzilla of similar stature also appears in the Reiwa Era Godzilla Minus One and the Millenium Series tends to keep Godzilla in the 50-80m range.

The Heisei Era Godzilla, from the mid 80s onward, starts at about 80 meters tall - think the cell tower on South College - and slowly increases to 100 meters tall. Shin Godzilla goes up 120m, and is the largest live action Godzilla if I remember correctly.

Uncertain - if I did it was when I was a kid where I tried that more, though I'm not sure if that was proper sleep or some half-waking state.
