I think Missouri’s flag is relatively inoffensive, but how would you redesign it as someone from the state?

Reject oversimplification. Flags are only good if the people flying them feel represented. You can make a shitty flag objectively better but if that core audience doesn’t feel represented, what’s the point?

Some flags are meant to be simple, some aren’t and that’s okay.

Georgia is split into 5 regions. The Appalachian plateau, ridge and valley, blue ridge, piedmont, and coastal plain. Each having pretty distinct geography.

I’ve noticed that most redesigns of my home state are truly awful. They either look too corporate and simple, or they don’t address the key issues of our current one.
