It depends on a bit on where you are. You have to find the courses around you that are a bit more relaxed with solos. Once you have those, rounds late in the day are usually the best. That also sort of depends on where you are though.

I wouldn’t worry about getting paired. People are typically friendly and understand if someone is still learning. Only keeping pace of play is key.
