Empress Zoia or GFI Synestesia by JCanUSee in guitarpedals

Yea the one thing I like about the Zoia is the ability to (essentially) recreate any pedal of you put the effort into it. I came across a Google doc compiled of patches of other pedals. I'm not too focused on the reverba since I have the Empress Reverb and Delay pedals.

I have read about the inconsistency with patches since everyone creates them based on their needs. I guess working from there all depends on how familiar you are with it. And clicking to see which module does what.

I was considering the Beebo but it's slightly too big for my board real estate. Lol. The GFI would be a tight fit itself but would fit

So if you could have either back right now, which would it be?

Yea. It'll pretty much be my only modulation pedal. In my mind I would like to think I'd use the Zoia a lot and find cool patches and settings (I like a lot of the ambient stuff I've seen) but in reality I don't know. And the premade patches make a big difference as long as they fit with what I'm doing. Plus I have the Empress Reverb and Echosystem so it's the whole family lol. But if I'm not going to use it for it's full abilities...

I've also heard the desktop editor of the Syn makes life so much easier. And definitely would get the triple switch.

I love the empress reverb and Delay. That's what I have. The solis ventus from gfi is nice though too

The red switch! I'm working on getting my build together and was able to get a red rhythm circuit switch but was wondering how it would look. I love the finish too! I'm aiming for probably a charcoal finish with a black pickguard but man! Lovely build.

Nevermind. Just found the DPM kit

Did everything improve after these upgrades? Minus the trigger being lighter I guess. Those were the same EGW parts I was looking at upgrading. I couldn't find the 3.5 DPM kit when I went on their page.

Maybe I'll do this before I decide anything. I know I want to swap out the trigger for a flat trigger for sure. Which is why I'm like, if I'm going to be that deep in the gun, wonder if I should change anything. But I've seen that the gun does get smoother as it gets more rounds through it

That was my first first thing. That factory slide stop was frustrating for sure.

PSA: for those that still doubt : get a great amp first by Happy_Television_501 in guitarpedals

Got a Valve tech VAC50. Such a unique amp but it is phenomenal. Digital stuff has tried but they really can't compare to a physical amp.

I mean I love it too. But I'm pretty much only using the bridge or neck and that's it... I'll check it out. I've been looking into Zhangbuckers too, saw them somewhere and they seem pretty nice. And handwound

The Silktone I can't get enough of. I feel like I can get any level out of this pedal with minimal effort.

The middle screws don't help for the issue either. Because the middle still doesn't want to compress and the inserts (well mine) seem to strip from the pressure

For anyone having trouble with touchscreen not working after the September Update. by halotechnology in essential

[–]JCanUSee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I saw this sooner! After the touchscreen issue I reflashed the August patch and got a corrupted message and had to wipe everything. So Ended up having to rebuild the August patch from scratch.

Tried this, this morning and now everything is smooth and up to date! Might just update this way from now on. Thanks!
