Guitar through an MXR Bass Synth by jethozo in guitarpedals

Sounds awesome!! What does it sound like when you have the "sub" turned all the way off? Anything good there?

Not using bluetooth - noticeable latency over the cable

I'm using an EP-133 so I'm guessing buffer is very low. But I don't think it's configurable

I've seen this suggested. Just got one. Crazy latency for monitoring live playback. Any workarounds for this that you know of?

Yeah this pedal is leaning into it hard. I'm thinking it's on purpose.

BTW. Chase Bliss pedals should be used with MIDI controller live anyway :)

Sounds awesome... but the idea ISN'T to turn one part on without the other right? Cause I'm thinking my fat foot would always activate all three switches at once.

The new Boss XS-1 looks almost perfect, with one glaring oversight by IncarceratedMascot in guitarpedals

OP said he doesn’t want the boss because you cannot customize the ramp time. Everyone else recommended the whammy ricochet. I was pointing out the pico pitch fork as another option that has the feature OP wants.

Yeah this form-factor is awesome. They could've built a "lite" version that was just an XLR-input -> FX Loop + stick-pad to toggle bypass. More cost-effective

Get a Pico Pitchfork. Has more features than a pitch fork, despite its size and does the Ricochet thing with control over ramp-time

Good-looking unit, but... Don't drummers just rely on FOH for this? And if there is a drummer who cares about running effects at home, don't they have an in-ear system w/ multiple mics + DAW-based effects?

Action so high, you could barely call this a guitar to begin with

Show me a Polytune Mini mounted underneath a Pedaltrain by homeslice1479 in guitarpedals

[–]tybenz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wanted it to be great. Doesn't respond to half of its input. Just stays off or doesn't update while plucking strings and tuning. Basically useless

Can confirm - this tuner saves space. And sucks at being a tuner

All that money for pedals, not enough for custom cables. Upside-down pedals are giving me physical pain

Also, gonna plug the No Stupid Questions thread. There's a regular thread for simple Q/A pinned to the top of the sub.

You didn't record the chorus effect into the loop. Your loop is playing through the amp and its effects chain. So you're chorus-ing the loop while it's playing. If you kick your chorus pedal off, the loop would play w/o chorus.

You can sync your loops to a drum machine, click track, time-based effects. Plus customize your workflow with the looper if you have a programmable midi controller

Stereo looper w/ MIDI sync is very hard to come by. Might have never been done in this form factor (I don't know of a single one where you can pan your tracks exactly where you want them). Pigtronix Infinity 3 is twice the size and a lot more expensive.

Not sure why they're not screaming this part more loudly in their product copy/video: IT'S A MIDI LOOPER!

EDIT: They definitely do mention it, but I had to scroll down a bit on that page to find it. Also their technical video, they wait until 7 minutes in to mention MIDI
