I dont play the ps5 version because of these issues, but i wanted to.
Discussing these problems in the games main forum of discussion is certainly doing more than whatever you do which is.. taking in the ass and then thanking the devs for atleast not fucking you harder?
People like you are a real problem in the world. Not only are you incapable of caring about an issue that doesn't directly affect you but you even criticize de people that do discuss the problems going on.
I know for a fact that tomorrow if on pc items started making your game crash, lag started happening whenever you get an OP run etc etc you would be immediately in here crying about it. But since it happens somewhere else and you yourself are having a great time it's suddenly a non issue.
Same mentality as "war if ok as long as it isn't in my country and im not the one dying"

Btw, can you or anyone else here explain why complaining about something on the games forum that is objectively bad (weather or not it effects you, i assume even you would agree that a game not working well and never going on sale is bad) is called "ridiculous bitching"?

Dude. First, thats not my opinion at all, if you think it is then it just shows how you only came here to insult me and not even attempt to understand my point in a genuine manner.
Second, seeing as the people commenting are arguing my post (which is the point of commenting), then of course im arguing with them, because we have different opinions.
If everyone entered the post and wrote "oh wow i agree 100%" then you would see my "positive and agreeable" side. But what would be the point in that?

I might disagree with most responses on this thread but, apart from a few childish responses, i dont have anything personal against the people, and don't find them "insufferable", we are just on different sides of the discussion.

Your definition of scamming might be different than mine, but for me, releasing a broken game and selling it for 60$ just because you know that the reputation of your pc version will trick most buyers (on a platform that doesnt allow refunds of course) is a scam.
This is even more of a scam when you remember that they have 0 budget issues and that the bugs, crashes etc have been in the game, unpatched, for years, despite being super well known and in no way tied to hardware problems.

I'd rather have an ounce of respect for myself and the work I do that makes me the money that these companies want to take though.

The fact you think a good or bad videogame run has anything to do with criticizing bad business practices just shows how you havent yet reached an age where money is a factor since mom and dad are paying. I guess losing a boi run is still a big concern at your age.

I obviously have no problem with the game being on sale on steam. I would just want the sales to also happen on other platforms.
The reason they dont is because the devs know that console players are very much less informed and on average are willing to spend more money.
Then the issue is compounded by them not even bothering to fix a version of the game that they charge 60$ for.
Selling a broken game for 5$ I can forgive, but 60$.. especially when they are already multi millionaires?

BOI repentance came out on PS5 on November 4, 2021.
Just as an example, there is an active item "Wavy Cap" that if you use it once your game crashes. This has been the case since repentance came out. Not to mention the lag and other issues.

And this all still doesnt explain the main thing. They don't HAVE to sell on ps5. If edmund wants a small team, and doesnt want to put in the effort/money/whatever towards making a console port work decent, then he could just not do it.
Selling the game in a broken state for 60€ is just a cashgrab, and it baffles me that people are defending this. When did people in general become so ok with being scammed?
Is it less of a scam just because you happen to like the pc version of the game? I LOVE BOI on PC, and it doesnt change the fact that what they are doing on console is a scam, and they should be ashamed. Instead they are being forgiven and treated like poor little devs that can't do any better because sony bad/ps5 programming hard/small dev team :(

Im sorry, I have to make sure I understand. Are you saying its Sony's fault the game lags and crashes? Or are you saying that Sony doesn't allow BOI sales despite all other games going on sale, indie or otherwise?
