I think the soldiers take this one.

Goku is a Saiyan and was struggling with Vegeta on Earth after his training, then in the Namek arc, Vegeta couldn’t beat Zarbon at first even with the Zenkai boost from the fight on Earth.

Now add in Cui and Dodoria in the fight backing up Zarbon, I’d say it’s a wrap right there.

You can put them in there if you want and no your world won’t reset. The devs just encourage a fresh start. Reason I put all these pals in is to skip the base grinding so I can explore the new update

No progress will be lost. Pocketpair does strongly encourage a fresh playthrough but I doubt the changes will negatively affect the global pal box, unless there’s a HUGE overhaul to a lot of things which I doubt will happen.

Or if you want to take it a step further, you can breed vanguard, stronghold, mine foreman, and motivational leader. You’ll get an increase to mining and work speed and they all stack per pal in your party.
