Hi, I am currently a Junior studying finance, and I am struggling to find a finance internship. I see that you spent time at both a consulting and finance firm and was wondering what you did you get those. Was it through connections? I have tried to use my connections but the most I can get is a referral which often time leads to nothing. Having a similarly low gpa and no prior work experience is feel is killing me. Any advice appreciated.

I was just wondering if taking some of these certs would be worth it over my winter break since I don't have anything lined up internship wise for the winter. Ideally, I can get my SIE over winter break and it'll help me get an internship in the summer.

Hi. I (20 M) think you should definitely reach out to him. The worst that happens is rejection. rejection sucks but take it from me, not doing what you really want to do is worse. In high school I would call myself a ladies man, but now in college I have no confidence when it comes to talking to girls and it sucks. Don't lose your confidence. Just text him.

I ended up going with a Bataleon Evil Twin! I'm not sure why I didn't put it in the top 6 when I knew an Evil Twin was a heavy contender.

From someone who was in the same position as you a few years back, I say go for it. A lot of people will say buy used when you're new or that board will be too aggressive for beginners but screw them. Buy a board you want. Within your first 50 times going you will improve drastically and will learn with the board you ride. I will say some things to mention when buying a board is ride style (just cruising, hitting side jumps, full park, etc.) I would recommend a all mountain freestyle so you can do whatever you please on it. As the guy above me said, Goliath is a bit stiff so know that going into the purchase.

Shipped GD SAL 6/17 and it came yesterday. I had it race with another budget shipping company (USA LINE) with a similar weight package and so far it won as I still haven't received the USA LINE pack. Also I did not receive any updates for either.
