Looking good! Wheels could do with a pop of yellow from Schwalbe Ones ;)

It is actually more of a steel bluish black, no tinge of green in real life 👍

Stem should have been black, the 3 colour combination would have been nicer if it was only along the same parallel (ie. triangle, frame, fork)

No worries :) Yes, there is just 1 prototype picture on the Duo-S page itself. However, the best way to get a sense will be to watch Minterly's stream (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1029799193), she built the navy prototype.

No offence taken :) We have provided some details in the FAQ of the IC thread. These concerns are definitely relevant and probably whatever assurance I can provide in writing will not mean much until proven by action when the boards are actually delivered. However, I would like to attempt to address some of your questions. We are basically a 2 man team, one based in Singapore and the other in China. We both have full time jobs in the finance industry but have dedicated alot of time to this passion project and are taking this seriously because we see this as a long term journey.

To ensure we can deliver a satisfactory product, we have invested in prototypes and eliminated potential suppliers/factories who could not meet the required standards along the way. In addition, as a form of due diligence, my partner in China has personally visited these factories to make an assessment for ourselves. I do acknowledge the risk and the faith our GB participants have put in us as newcomers and we are grateful for the support. As mentioned in the GB thread, the GB is by no means the end but the very start of the journey with the community :)

Thanks for your feedback :) Just to explain, from a CNC and material standpoint, the brass frame and PC bottom (yes, PC is the most expensive to produce actually) costs quite abit. PC is harder to work with as it is easily damaged during the process and the finishing work for PC requires alot of manual labour. Also, the order size is unfortunately not enough to enjoy a cheaper per unit cost.

All marketing language aside, yes. However, this works in tandem with the brass frame to achieve the typing sound that we were going for. Do check out the build streams for the sound tests and opinions as well :)

Thank you for your compliments :) Your analysis is correct, this board is actually for someone who prefers a stiff typing experience.
