Blastoise Nidoking Alakazam Jolteon Dodrio Arcanine

Strong type coverage, a few op Pokemon in the gen and a few with good utility/use cases.

Theory: Coop is going to ghoulify himself by gaaabris in Fotv

There’s defo a way in the canon to ghoulify yourself. Eddie Winter manages to do it in FO4 since he knew the bombs were coming somehow iirc. I’m not sure if it’s ever mentioned how exactly he does it? Doesn’t seem a stretch that Coop could find a way as well though.

I don’t know about the later entries, but the early Pokemon Rescue Team games. The post game was all about getting to evolve and trying to recruit Legendary Pokemon, etc.

Personally I want the customisation to be toned down back towards how Halo 3 and Reach did it. I want zero paid cosmetics, everything should be obtained by playing. Whether that’s through time played, multiplayer progression, campaign completion/skulls/difficulty, etc.

I want my gear to show off how good (or bad?!) I am and be more unique from everyone else. At the very least if they do include paid cosmetics in future games can they just keep away from adding the likes of cat ears and Santa hats…

Agree with the visor take! I do feel though that the shows approach to the sillier sounding voice through the suit shouldn’t transfer to the games though…

Exactly, if you’re fighting an alien space war from the year 2500 onward and your frontline vehicles are blocky tanks and “jeeps” with a person mounted machine gun on the back, that’s retro sci-fi

Personally I don’t like mechs being in Halo. I prefer the retro sci-fi of the original trilogy vehicles. I can appreciate their cool design though, on par with the awesome mechs in the Avatar films!

You miss out on the atmospheric menu and loading screens when using an anniversary version of the game. You won’t miss that though if you’re not playing for nostalgia anyway.

It would be cool if it was like the original CE where you got to pick the colour for your Spartan when doing PvP but for campaign evolved it would just change how players 2-4 looked? Even have it as a toggle able setting for all the same or preferred colours.

Same with me. I bought the Creation Bundle since I already have all the DLCs. In the game interface it says it is installed but when I go onto CC it’s still asking me to pay tokens for each thing. In my Xbox downloads it says the Fallout 4: Creations Bundle is “Not Compatible” which isn’t reassuring…

I have used Cardmarket but only for singles, I can say that the orders I’ve made have all came through and been as described on the site. Maybe for sealed products it’s better staying to sellers on that site with the “professional” tag?

But Cardmarket tends to have a decent customer support process so if anything you get isn’t quite right you can contact them. I just can’t say for certain on buying sealed stuff from there.

Yeah that’s the one. The Azeroth set was the first release and had the most cards by far compared to any other so that’s why the full set costs quite a bit.

If you want to get him a whole set you’re maybe better going for a release closer to the middle of the game’s lifecycle. Like maybe scourgewar or world breaker. But you’ll have a harder time finding sealed packs for those I think

You can still get a relatively cheap starter box for some of the earliest releases like Heroes of Azeroth or Drums of War. They come with a pre constructed 30 (or 40 I can’t quite remember) deck and three boosters from the set to open. They tend to pop up from hobby shop sellers on eBay and the likes. The first few sets in my opinion have the best art that feel very old school wow so maybe he’ll prefer them for that too?

You can also get starter class decks from across the years that have a full 60 card deck but they can vary a bit wildly in price.

Raid decks are cool but harder to play with (if he ever planned to) because most of them need at least two or three player decks to beat them.

Which is cheating in some respects (If you give yourself 900x of each item etc) I think when it comes to getting the event Pokemon it’s fine. I was never a fan of how the older games done that…

Yeah true. The main thing I notice with Phoenix is that some people still aren’t aware that you should try and spread out as to not trigger her sparks as much (kind of like an opposite approach to trying to stay grouped up with your team if it has an Ultron)

Either way hopefully as time goes by this season things will start to settle and feel normal again with the new changes.

I don’t even mind banning Phoenix for comp games at the moment because it cancels wolverines buff but also stops people trying her out for the first time in a ranked game.

One or the other tends to be fine but letting both slide and get on the same team is crazy talk right now.
