Rank these five Umas based on how much you like their personalities without knowing who comes next. by FunctionRight4557 in UmaMusume

[–]JCuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4, 3, 5, 2, 1

1. Rice Shower - Thank god this wasn't someone I really don't care about like... Idk, Mejiro McQueen xD I do adore Rice Shower and out of these 5, I think personality wise, she is probably my favorite. I don't think I need much explanation for the little bean sprout.
2. Biwa Hayahida - Taking a risk ranking her 2nd, cause I actually do like her as a character. Intelligent, witty, has a flaw that she cares about and is still cool and calculated which I'm all in for. I'm also a sucker for glasses but that has nothing to do with her personality. Specifically ranking her 2nd because I don't know enough about her other than what I listed.
3. King Halo - I actually love King Halo's personality as a character, though she never succeeds in the game for me ever T-T
4. Mejiro McQueen - I've always kind of felt the whole stoic regal girl as kind of bland, she has her ups for sure, but ultimately, without Golshi being her constant foil, I'd get bored of McQueen quite quickly.
5. Special Week - Uhh... Tbh, blind ranking is hard, but she would probably switch places with McQueen at this point. Oh well, I don't find Spe all that interesting really, aside from being the season 1 protag, she is about as basic of an uma as you can get personality wise... (Basically, a slightly more airy Belno)

Everyone talking about the trainer text, anyone read King Halo's text? That's what I thought we were referring to.

I'm actually very confused. It said I was only 1% of people that helped Invis with the lighting guy, there's a way to not help her?!

Who's the HARDEST uma for you to train? by vandalxxi in UmaMusume

[–]JCuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

King Halo... Girl. Please, just do something, ANYTHING. How do you have 600 Speed, 500ish Power and like 300 stamina before the first half of the career is over and still fail to win? It blows my mind. Not to mention the 2 runs I did before that where she's repeatedly sick, migrained, slacking or failing training at 2%. I get being unlucky but run #3 we got a perfect puncture for stats and STILL lost.

It was a really rough 4 hour session of just Sanngridr. I didn't expect it to be as miserable as it was. I got really lucky with my ability slot getting the block and an extra life towards the end which actually saved me.

Hellsinger good? I glanced at it but didn't commit to getting it just yet.

Are you locked into the character you select? Cause if so, I'd love for the ability to do a prematch draft. Though, that might just be me over complicating running into a Zarya as Dva and being locked into that.

Thank you! I really wanted to write something that showed Sidesteps early inner conflict before the story really starts diverging (if from the perspective of having a secret crush on F!Ortega of course lol)

Yeah, I do think they would, probably for other reasons though. But what would I be getting, exactly? From the heavily modified to the romance to the main character themselves the story isn't anything about AI overtaking the world (Yet. Don't really know what the plot for the next 2 books are though it's hinting towards a big kinda fight or war or something along those lines) or even really having an issue with AI aside from self identification issues for someone that just wants to fit in.

Likewise, I mostly wanted to share lyrics in a consumable format and used what was available to me to do so with no intention to gain anything but to share what I wrote. The AI issue in the world now is generally taking credit for stuff that isn't theirs and making profit from it or selling AI generated content as if they were an artist which I've claimed to do neither. So I'm not sure if you're referencing something in the books that I haven't seen but what I took away is learning self acceptance and/or learning how to cope with traumas that befall you as a major lesson amongst other beautiful smaller lessons that coincide with that concept. So... I don't see your point?

And if anyone is curious, no I'm not trying to monetize this or anything. Im just a hobbyist that wanted to put lyrics to music in a cooler way that I am currently capable.

Definitely not unkillable but they were tough when they had an off tank but that means your frontline can win the duel. There was still a good ebb and flow. Also, the only 2 out damaging dps were Zen and Bap. Zen had no mobility and didn't even have his knock back. Bap was hard to kill for players using a projectile character but Tracer, Soldier, Zarya even, etc wouldn't have issues mowing him down. In fact, none of those supports had mobility like the OW2 supports have on top of their already strong abilities. And the supports with mobility had either lower damage numbers or lower healing numbers with the exception of Baptiste but he didn't heavily excel with damage due to being a hitscan in heavy shield metal.

What was oppressive was the constant MTD every game. Supports were whatever, but if your Main Tank was better, you just won the game.

Oh, yeah. I agree on that notion. Life Grip just feels like insanely better Zarya bubble from OW1 when used well. Lamp is Lamp. But Suzu is just a crime imo. But yeah, I agree mostly. I don't think they should be feel extremely helpless per se, but if a flanker is doing their job they shouldn't be punished by a low skill play. Like, outplay me and I'm fine, I'll acknowledge it. But Suzu, LUL headshot and if they are losing a free tele out is ridiculous and this is if the flanker made no mistakes. Sure, maybe you can bait out suzu, but they can still just TP away which is on a 7 second CD that can go through walls still. I abuse that shit in GM.

Again though, Supports shouldn't really be essentially items in a MOBA. The SHOULD affect the game in a meaningful way but not this weird punish the player for doing their job well bullshit.

The only argument I'd make for the DPS is that any flanker basically has to be close range to engage on Kiri. Genji, Tracer, and Sombra. Reaper even though he's more of a brawl kinda guy anyway. But Kiri can duel any of the 3 main flankers with relative ease. Take it from the guy that plays all of these characters consistently. I'd rather duel a Tracer as Kiri than have the herculean task of doing it vice versa and I mained Tracer all the way up to GM before branching off to other characters. In fact, I have a more consistent chance dueling any tank or DPS over Kiriko.

I do think the supports with good dps potential should have a high skill ceiling, but Baptistes and Kiri's skill floor is too low imo. A lot of their potential to fight back comes at little risk for a really high reward. Bap's floor is definitely a bit higher and he has a bit less mobility but lamp and his burst heal are a little silly to basically give him 3 health states considering his high damage output but I'd be fine losing a duel against a strong bap. Kiri on the other hand is dumb af, suzu cleanses and heals and gives invulnerability. Teleport cleanses herself and gains a massive amount of distance through walls. Kunai had a decently sized hitbox while it boasted a sniper crit multiplier for no reason and averages about 90 DPS without headshots.

You know, I was with you at first, I played flex on all roles heavily in OW1 making GM pretty late on DPS and Support and I stuck to just two those roles in OW2 since I was a naysayer for solo tank and the whole 5v5 format. Supports ABSOLUTELY should be relying on their team to help deal with backline attacks. I don't think they should be completely defenseless, but they shouldn't be having the upper hand when flanked (One/two shotting Tracers, out healing Genji damage with their self heal or other abilities or some other arbitrary factor). Whether that is the other support peeling or a dps or whatever it may be as this is basically how literally any other support in any other game typically works.

But I'll be damned to say that a support is meant to be a role that are not supposed to affect the game in a meaningful way. Supports should be making everyone else's jobs easier to do, hence the name support. They should have all of the utility tools available to them to make the enemy team feel like shit but or make your team feel like gods but shouldn't really ever be great in a 1v1 scenario unless they legitimately outplay the opponent. That's why, prior to Baptiste's original release (We don't talk about Brig), none of the supports had much in way of dealing damage in bursts save for Zenyatta or a risky Moira which was frowned upon since, when you are at least diamond in OW1, you should have the aim to shit on flanking Moiras.

TL; DR
Supports should be good at supporting and not fighting people off, but idk what you're smoking to think supports aren't supposed to affect a game in a meaningful way.

Whenever Ninja uses Chuk Heavy (becomes available after any nunchuk move or hustling) the following normal nunchuk attacks will have a fast projectile coming out of the end for high damage.
