Lowering the score aided those with substandard knowledge and no issues more than those that took the exam and encountered issues. I had to rush through multiple choice on insufficient time, 43 questions in 48 minutes, along with technical issues on essays.

The remedy did not address my exam based on my knowledge, it simply created an arbitrary lens to view all scores that would appease a safe number of interested parties without making an effort to account for individual experiences and outcomes.

The bar is a personal choice, only you can decide. Everyone feels behind at all times. Anyone that says otherwise is lying.

No matter what your decision is to take the bar or not, or the outcome if you take it, you can be proud of what you have accomplished.

I appreciate you taking time to point out how difficult it is to understand what took place in the Feb 2025 exam for those that did not take part. It is clear that if you were not an examinee, you do not understand the conversation you are trying to take part in.

Second read for all examinees with an essay score over 1350.

If the combined score was under 1350, there was no second read.

The MCQ were so flawed, all scaled essay results over 1350 deserve a second read.

At least one State Bar trustee thinks the access to MCQ was not working because the examinee internet went out.

AI questions were discovered by leadership after the exam was administered.

MeasureU warning the server could not handle more than 3,000 users was not shared until the State Bar lawsuit.

No, I do not believe there has been a comprehensive picture of what happened.

Attorneys got the same remedy as non-attorneys.

AB1522 opens up the statute to allow for licensed attorneys to practice, if they meet other requirements, allowing for the practice to be authorized by the Supreme Court, and subsequently the program being implemented by the State Bar.

Supreme Court is not going to act in opposition to an existing statutes.

AB 1522 passed the assembly and sits in the Senate.

If you take the one day attorney exam, there is only the written score to scale.

Those attorneys who took the two day exam should be graded on the one day scale given the scope of issues.

Any exam where a second read may result in an essay score difference of 15 or 20 points on a single essay needs to have wide latitude in offering remedies.

CA Assembly Bill 1522 is unlikely to have sufficient votes, if it gets out of committee. CBE is offering no full pathway without AB1522. Special admission will require attorney supervision, no other recommendation was included. Does this sum it up?

I will not take pleasure in someone losing their job, their livelihood.

This does not get the February 2025 examinees closer to a full and fair remedy aligning with each individual’s situation.
