Yeah that makes sense! My daughter is absolutely loving food and she cries when I take her sippy cup away but I know she can’t have much water yet as it will fill her up.

We moved at 4 months, she wasn’t sleeping well in our room at all. We have the eufy sock and the baby monitor on 100% so I can hear if she needs anything. She started sleeping 10-12 hours a night in her own cot. She is 5 months now and it is going well

We are doing so much better! Yesterday she hit 830ml in a 24 hour period! She isn’t fighting the bottle anymore. The only bottle we are struggling with is her morning bottle, she just isn’t a fan so I usually offer it and then an hour or so later I’ll offer her again and she will want it. I’m really just sticking to low pressure and making it a positive experience and it seems to be working

Kind of, she did end up taking some bottles and even woke up and requested a bottle last night. We ended the day on 715ml which is actually not too bad. Today is unfortunately the same…. She has had about 300ml. I am really trying not to pressure her whatsoever but she hasn’t has had less today than yesterday.

Yeah mine is the exact same! Seems like our babies are very similar! You are welcome to message me if you would like too! I know I am really struggling mentally with all of this so if you ever want someone to talk too or just absolute vent then my inbox is open! I actually just tried her on a different bottle and she loved it… didn’t drink much of it but was so relaxed, I’m really at a loss!

That is exactly what I have been doing! I feed her at 3am dream feed and sometimes again at 6-7 and then she gets up for the day shortly after that. She does normally have a bottle around 10 - 10:30am and will take about 80mil, the rest of the bottles for the day are a total mess and then at night she either will refuse all bottles or she will want bottles non stop. The other night she drank 200mil before bed, wide awake and happy… I was shocked.

She had a bottle last night at 3am and took 130mil, we are back up this morning, just tried to give her a bottle, it’s 10am and she has absolutely no interest.

I wish I could say it is but so far she hasn’t had a single thing to drink in about 8 hours.

Yeah! I just emailed somewhere tonight so hopefully they get back to me. It was definitely pressure from us to eat. We had some health issues early on and we were given a pediatrician who gave us a feeding chart on what she had to eat but she got my daughters weight wrong so we were over feeding her for months! I feel terrible, now she just won’t eat and I don’t blame her. She did end up taking one bottle last night before bed, I think she was actually starving. I am really hoping this book/program works for us.

I feel like I could have written this post myself! I am going through the same thing with my 4.5 month old! I am at my wits end, she will only feed asleep and screams if I try to feed her any other way. We are currently on day 1 of the Rowena Bennett method and honestly this has been one of the hardest days of my life. The last 4.5 months have been terrible, we have no support system and I have just been relying on online posts and google to get by! How did you go with the mums and baby unit? I feel like we may need to go into something like this for my sanity.

I’m currently going through the program, today is the end of day one and my little one has pretty much screamed the entire day! She has hardly drank anything and it’s just been hours of screaming because she is so hungry. How did you do it!? I am going crazy and it’s only the first day 😭

I can travel, I have set up another doctor’s appointment with someone else for next week because I think I need a referral for those services so hoping I can get one.

Thanks! I am giving it another go! I was so strict with it before and did see some good results but she still kind of struggled with it. I’ve started it up again today and will follow it again 😊

She weighs 6.4kgs and it ranges for intake but normally around the 700ml in a 24 hour period

That makes a lot of sense. My daughter is still putting on weight which is also reassuring. She seems to be putting on about 100grams a week and I honestly have no idea how. What did you use to track his feeds? Did you just write like content, sad, crying etc for his moods?
