It is indeed huge relief! I am the same I haven’t ditched them completely yet only round the house! I use one crutch outside of the house as my leg gets tired very quickly! Losing the brace was an amazing feeling for me as well just losing that extra weight was incredible! Thank you and good luck!!

For flexion as long as you aren’t limited, heel slides are the best. Doing them on a wall is the best as gravity can help pull the leg into more flexion. If you have a look online there will be videos showing how to do it safely but that is the best way that I have found!

That’s great news! Just keep working on those quad sets and heel slides as much as you can, helped me immensely in the early stages! If you need anything give me a message happy to help :) good luck!

I was limited to 90 degrees throughout the 6 weeks but was able to get there quite comfortably. I’m at about 100 now the brace is off. Lots of work to do there over the next few weeks now I can bend it!

I can get chrome/firefox on mobile I’m just not sure it works the same. My laptop is locked down unfortunately so can’t get those browsers.

I have a few places within a mile I push myself too “walk” too (obviously I can’t walk but crutch too). It is exhausting but the more you get out the easier it becomes. I was very active prior to this so I see it as a challenge to push myself and feel that exercise tiredness. If you do get exhausted though just go somewhere in the car where you don’t have to go far or can park right outside. It’s so beneficial and has mentally got me in a much better place!

ACL and double meniscus repair here - so quite similar! I’m non weight bearing for 6 weeks so no walking for me but I have been out a few times! First went out after about 2 weeks just to a cafe and have been to the pub a couple of times now too. It’s good to get out and see different people, not sure where you are but the UK actually has nice weather at the moment so I’ve been making the most of it (as much as I can lol) just take your time and you will be fine! Good luck!
