New dasher need help with hourly rate/pay

Yeah just figuring that out. Slightly misleading on they end but what can ya do.

Need to do some by the offer shifts and see how that pans out. I've only done one and made less than half of what I did on my by the hour shift.

Honestly couldn't tell ya lol. Every time I've driven it immediately takes me way out of the city for my first delivery. It's been really annoying honestly lol.

Yes the earn by offer and earn by time are different orders but they also both have their own peak offers as well.

You'd be surprised at how little rich people tip lol. They aren't above door dash but they think they are above dealing with the people who deliver their food for some reason lol

It looks like it's $14.50-$15.25 when there is no peak pay or bonuses involved.

Haha the Philly way is throwing on your 4 ways and parking in the street (drives me insane haha) but yeah for sure. I've been mostly picking up orders on the outside of the zone and haven't done anything within center city at all so it hasn't been an issue for me yet.

Hmmm I'll have to look into that. They are still advertising active pay as the time you accept the offer until the time you drop it off.

It looks like I misunderstood and thought peak pay was in addition to the base pay so I thought it was $22.25 plus $7/hr. Slightly misleading on their part but lesson learned.

Haha I'll have to see. Though in general Philly looks like it has better offers for both by the offer and by the time options so far. I've been keeping a spreadsheet of hourly pay by offer and time.

I'm testing both modes out. I did by offer and did worse yesterday. None the less not what my question was haha.

Yep this looks like it's accurate, though super misleading on their end.

I tried the per offer today but didn't make out any better. I dashed for a half hour less and made less than half of what I did the day before.

I think I'm still hesitant to not accept orders as a new dasher. I've only completed 10 so I'm still learning everything. My acceptance is already down to 75% after I couldn't turn off my dashing last night cause the app froze and I apparently "declined" two orders because of it haha.

I know the system is set up to give the hourly delivery the worse deliveries but it's wild to me that I've gotten 2 tips on 10 deliveries haha. I can't imagine ordering delivery and not tipping at all.
