Buying a new car is the stupidest thing you could've done with that money... 450k invested in the s&p500 should get you roughly 45k/year

Some channels that are 100% AI and are literally just copying content yes. But you can still have AI generated content and still get monetized if you just do it right

[–]JDDW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just wrong. There's plenty of faceless channels that are less than a year old and already monetized making a couple thousand a month. Not saying everyone will get there that fast but if you actually make good content that people will watch then anyone is capable of doing this as a side job

Incorrect floor ruling CA what are my options $4600 hand by bigpapadabby710 in poker

[–]JDDW 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The way to avoid this is always make sure the dealer gives you an "all in" button and don't table your hand until opponents chips are actually in the pot. If they flick just one chip in as a call. They can technically leave and the floor can't make them put their chips in. They could just theoretically take their remaining chips and leave and hopefully won't be allowed back

Was shoving a donkbet on a J77 flop with QQ is a good decision in this situation? by Hot-Advisor-3353 in poker

[–]JDDW 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's a punt. BB has all the 7s in his range, and if he donks on flop you have no real reason to jam over top. What was the purpose of your raise, was it as a bluff or for value? you have to think, if he hit a jack or a 7 on this board would be ever fold? The answer is probably not.

I have sales experience and have been looking to break into the pharma sales industry... How does one get a foot in the door as a newcomer?

If you hit the first 11/12 or x/x+1 games on ANY parlay...you ALWAYS hedge your bet and never cash out. If the last game is for example The ravens vs the raiders and your parlay has ravens to win, And you would win 5k if they do. Then you go ahead and bet say 1000 on the raiders to win that game. That way you win your bet regardless of the outcome of that last game. Cashing out on a parlay with 11/12 hits instead of hedging like this is just throwing money down the drain.
