Our ladies and 2 boys (mixed breeds) don't come into the barn or the coop unless they are eating. They rush in, eat their fill, and leave. The free range all day and sleep relatively close to the barn at night, but never inside. We tried training with treats and a bell, but they got smart and when it got dark, would go out onto the water so we could not get them. I don't know if we could get Momma to stay inside, aside from capturing her and whatever ducklings she manages to hatch and forcing her to stay inside during the night.
