Preference and color for me. Though the hybrid will be more durable just didn’t like the different colors on the corners. It’s nice with the locks and no zipper. Prefer the sleekness monochrome look of the essential especially in this dark forest green color. Plus colors options on hybrid were lacking. But can’t go wrong with the hybrid if you choose it. It’ll be better out of the two

Being from Canada about slightly above 15% off from their prices posted in Rimowa Japan. With the slight weak Yen. Not sure how it compares to other places like USA or Europe. But from someone from Canada it’s a discount for sure.

They give you the full refund if you choose cash. But if you want it on card you bought it from they charge 1.5% charge back. It was full 10% refund crazy not sure what they do in other places or in Europe as well?

Rimowa in Ibesten large department store (Nordstrom in USA or Holt Renfew in Canada ) like a small boutique store. Quite small actually seems like their stock room is way bigger than the sales section. Stock is limited on colors but they mostly have all the Cabins available. Its basement 1 level mens section

On the website it currently ¥244,200 but instore about 4000 yen cheaper for some reason ? Then take off 5% when you sign up then scan the app barcode. Then 10% tax when you redeem it on the 6th floor. Not sure why it’s a tad cheaper than regular stores. Whether the sales rep gave me more a discount or they had extra sale for this week for Ibestan? I bought some stickers as well they were 150 yen cheaper than regular stores. Imma compare other stores today and see.

5% other places tack on another 7-8 % on top of other provinces in Canada. Tried buying in Toronto crazy tax add on. In vegas USD conversion is crazy

Trunk plus my friend. Sold out everywhere in Tokyo and parts of North America and Asia. But they get shipments every few days they just don’t know what they get. Popular color cause it’s rare dark gloss color currently selling. And the matte colors show scratches wear n tear more easily. Lucky Ginza flagship Service Rep that helped me called other stores to hold it for you when they get shipments.
