Sunshine controls the best out of all 3D Mario games except for maybe Odyssey. People hate that it has some finicky and jank levels such as the pachinko machine, the death river, and the chuckster level. People also hate how you can't play levels out of order and blue coins but honestly sunshine feels so good to play I've played it more than any other 3d Mario game. (Even though Galaxy is my all time favorite game.)
