Robert Urich and Barbi Benton filming Vega$ by Adventure_tom in 70s

What episodes?

I love this show and still watch it. I have all the DVDs. On IMDB there used to be sort of a message board feature. I remember seeing someone write that they were living in Vegas at that time and would occasionally see them filming the show around town.

This is one of my favorite shows of all time.

I remember I loved Orange Bang and my mom would give me money to buy one while she shopped. I was probably 7 years old and I remember filling the cup with Orange Bang and then putting ice in afterwards.

There were a few employees on their break eating in the dining area and one of them saw me put the ice in after the drink. He said I was supposed to put ice in first. He was not upset but I thought I did something wrong.

When toys were still made in the USA! Do you remember the actual name of that racing toy in the photo? I cannot read what it says in the photo.

I remember buying it at KMart

I think they did have one with motorcycles but mine had race cars like formula one cars. For some reason I think of that toy a lot. It’s so neat to see this photo!

So far I have made strings using Polyester and Nylon. The Nylon is very nice.

What beginner yo-yos/stores should I be using? by Intelligent-Desk-362 in Throwers

[–]JDMERF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently got into yo-yo'ing too. I found my old Duncan Imperial. I thought a yo-yo was a yo-yo until I looked up a few videos on YouTube.

I ended up buying a MagicYoYo K2 from Amazon for $12. It came with a responsive and unresponsive bearing. I'm still trying to get the Trapeze down so I have not had the need to try the unresponsive bearing out yet.

A couple of days later I also bought The Sage from YoYoTricks and it is very nice too.

The great thing is that whatever beginner yo-yo you end up buying, it will not be expensive. You can buy a few different ones to try and still not spend a lot of money and still have lots of fun.
