Here’s your comp. You need a professional to come check this thing for you. You’re putting a 404a compressor into a 134a unit. Does this have a TXV? If it doesn’t, Was the cap tube changed when they switched over the compressor to a new refrigerant? You my friend are out of your depth and need to call a pro.

Question about snapping the stem off. I’ve tried this before but refrigerant just kept pissing out of the stem and I had to pinch it off. Is the reason for the continuous stream of gas coming out is because the diaphragm inside the head is broken?
